    I don't recommend the parsley range for acne. "In two minds" facial cleanser works best for acne and the seeking silence facial hydrator is a good mix with the fabulous face oil. Worked for me!

    I personally adore Aēsop products. There is nothing wrong with sodium laureth/lauryl sulfate. They’re basic cleansers just with any other soap. Leaving it on your skin of course will cause irritation, just like any other cleansing product.

    • @ngythe1king
      @ngythe1king 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I disagree, sodium laureate is a terrible ingredient. As a hand and body wash it’s fine but not for your hair and face, I have been using non-sodium laureth on my shampoo and face cleanser for over 10 years now and HUGE improvement in hair loss reduction and non dry skin

      @@ngythe1king To each his own. I’ve used those substitutes. My experience is that you wind up using so much just to clean that it negates any benefit of using a more “gentle” cleanser.

      The whole sulfate is bad thing is a myth and funny enough those who claim they found alternative usually have shitty looking hair with tons of build up. It often comes from people who did a lot of bad things to their hair and needed to find a culprit to blame (oh I bleached my hair but sulfate is bad), or I buy a shampoo full of allergens such as fragrances but blame the irritation on sulfate.

    Aesop is a skin care brand. They offer different products for all skin types and give their consultants very extensive schooling and training to be able to recommend the best product for your individual skin needs - you act in this video like the most popular products are the only ones they offer.

    The “fragrances” you mentioned are actually preservatives and listed at the end of the ingredients list because they are not the main component of the product. The inactive vitamin c compound is actually great because you don’t want to buy products that purport to have vitamin c but by the time you buy it, the vitamin c has broken down on the shelf. The inactive vitamin c reacts to the salts naturally found on the skin, so it’s not the “slow release” you claim. None of the products you mentioned would be recommended for someone who is acne prone yet you use that as critique for each product. This video just seems really bad faith and not well researched

      Additionally, you were talking about the risks of oxidation for cleansers… these are by design not meant to stay on the skin that long to oxidise. As with all cleansers, they are meant to be washed off the skin and not remain on the skin for more than the required time

      Your comment made me understand what she was saying. I only caught about every 5th word of every sentence she said. I don’t know if it’s the poor quality recording or she’s speaking too fast or the accent

    I thought Aesop products is good for all skin type. Honestly I don’t have many problems with my skin but recently I bought Aesop parsley seed skin care set and my skin get rashes and it looks horrible. I felt cheated and regret buying this products. Honestly the price is not that cheap but the quality is not there.

    Thankyou for the video li, I have extremely sensitive skin, (I have tried many products) and I did see that the mask contained alcohol and so does another moisturiser but apparently this type of alcohol is to trap moisture. I also avoid all products with fragrance ... didn’t know these had fragrance. I have already purchased them.... I will let you know in a couple of weeks how my skin goes using the alc free toner, post shave moisturiser and chamomile mask. Wish me good luck !! 😭

      @@7nova Im going to be honest, i broke out a couple of times, and it always felt quite heavy on my skin. I will tell you though I finally found my holy grail of products, after I used it for a month my skin was clear. (I have struggled with sensitive skin, and ive tried so many products anything with harmful chemicals will make me breakout, even something small) I even eat junk food, and my skin still feels so amazing light and hydrated.... that product is... Cerave !! The cleanser, moisturizer and serums. Which all contain good stuff such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and even niacinamide. You might not know what these products, but you could do some research on them. If you wanna know anything more, lmk !!

    I would like to know about their rose hair masque, they said there’s no artificial fragrance added, but I can smell something that’s lasting too long and chemical like smell, not so natural as I would wish it to be.

      It has rose essential oil, lavender essential oil, Citronellol, Linalool, Geraniol, Citral, Limonene, So a ton of fragrance in it. Personally I don’t mind fragrances in my hair but it’s absolutely not true.

      @@cameronsummers-borchard441Doesn’t matter. Actually fragrance oil at times is less of an allergen and irritant than essential oils. Just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it’s good for you. I like both personally but not on my face.

      @@cameronsummers-borchard441 Essential oils are super potent and their therapeutic levels are actually very small doses. They are often misused in natural skin care formulas, to add heavy scent or coloring, instead of honoring their active abilities. At higher than therapeutic doses can be very irritating, and they also have low molecular weight and can penetrate the dermis to reach the blood stream.

    absolutely every skincareprodukt on the market only could , None of them are really proven to actually do, None! That is why there is new stuff on the market every Month, and "eveybodyy" hopes that this time it could be the one that.... ....but... what s really going on is - most people are afraid of their death (which is ok) but the time you spend defending yourself against your aging , is time you missed living. That shortens your life. ;-)
