Yes. That's a very, very capable machine. Framerate won't pose any problem at all. When do the fans kick on with the card - about 56 C? My 3080 (12 GB) does run warm but I have a larger Phanteks Eclipse 500A mid-tower with three 140's pushing in air and a 280 AIO on top adding additional exhaust. The card maxes out around 72 C, with no undervolt.
The fans turn on around 60 degrees. This GPU ran pretty warm in a couple of setups I had it in. The last being a spacious HAF Cooler Master case, where temps were the exact same as in the video.
@@HaisteComputerRepair That's interesting; and you've already addressed the paste and the pads. Also, that is a lot of air moving with two 200 mm intake fans with the HAF Cooler Master case. However, as you say, if it doesn't hit 90 C you'll be fine. I have read that the Nvidia RTX series can handle the 80's without a problem. Again, you've built a very nice machine!
@@zingwilder9989 I would say if you want to continue using the card and servicing it doesn't help with temps could give it a go if you have the budget.
I think you would be safe from bottlenecking. I found it to be a good pairing. Though if you are into overclocking/undervolting with the CPU, a different motherboard than the one featured here would need to be researched. Ideal for editing is really up to the user experience and what they want to do. A laptop could be someone's ideal device or a high end desktop. It will easily run that software, but you'll have to describe what it is you want to do.
Can I also use 5600mhz on this motherboard? like a patriot viper venom 32 5600mhz cl36 ram and will this motherboard support it? @@HaisteComputerRepair
Hi please I need an answer… With this specs: Case: NZXT H210 CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K Kühler: Thermalright Assassin X 120 SE Mainboard: Asus Z170i Pro Gaming RAM: 16GB G.Skill DDR4 2133MHz GPU: Asus GTX 1060 Turbo 6GB SSD: 500GB Samsung 870 Evo SATA PSU: 530 Watt Thermaltake Hamburg 80+ OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Would I get the same fps as In that video: th-cam.com/video/_rMyexo_HgQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tx6vvkL02leabvKm or is this better or worse
You would have the "K" version of the i7-6700, so you could play around with overclocking in the system BIOS. You would have a little edge over the one in my video if you are wanting to spend the time experimenting with overclocking. Good luck and hopefully you don't have to spend too much money on an older system.
Can you please tell me which pc I should get.. the one with specs I already said for 240€ or this one for 290€: Amd ryzen 5 3500. 16gb RAM DDR4 2666MHz. 512gb SSD. 1TB HDD. Rtx 2060 with 6gb???????
another win in the book.
;)
How much did it cost?
What resolution were the benchmarks?
They were all 1440p
Thx
Sorry out of topic but which one do you prefer ? Thinkpad L430 or X270 and why ?
X270 will have the advantage on performance despite being smaller. It will have the benefit of 6th or 7th gen Intel and DDR4 RAM.
Would using an rtx 3080 vs rtx 3080ti make much of a difference with this build
I suppose it might depend on what you are doing with the PC. Not night and day, but yes I would say there would be a difference in performance.
i managed to get almost the same performance as stock with 1800mhz@825mv. the max temp is around 68 C
Well done!

@@HaisteComputerRepair I agree. If it hits 90 C it could damage the card. I know that it's expensive, but if 90+ could require liquid cooling?

Hi
Is ryzen5 7600x ok with 3080ti for both gaming and rendering?
Yes, even better.
If ur still here, how much did the pc cost in £?
Well, I was able to give a deal since the 3080 Ti came from my own PC. So I sold the PC for about $1000 CAD at the time
👍
@fj_beamngd 👍
Does this cpu bottleneck the 3080ti in 1440p gaming? And is this combination ideal for editing in premiere pro?

Is there any big difference in games between your CPU and 7800x3d? I have the same GPU
Well, that CPU is not one that I have tested personally but likely yes. Theoretically you will have more headroom for the 3080 Ti.
