If nothing else, I love how season 8 proved that Robert Baratheon was absolutely correct about Dany and her dumb brother.

His mistake was living in the past.

No he was a smart tactician and a good warrior. But as a man his morals were completely messed up. He was a whore monger, and a glutton. He fought an entire war over a delusion of a women who didn't even want him being owed to him, he applauded the murder of children and the rape of their mother by a savage, he blamed children for the fault of their father and chased them till they fell to the brink of insanity in a far away land. I wouldn't call him a good man, he was a good warlord.

Unfair and untrue. House stark was a prime example of nobility, and honor is required if you are to be in good standing with your fellow nobles. Also if you are to be in good standing with your people. Tyrants have been killed many times in this story alone, and have been killed in our history too. Strong and honorable leaders are kept around by their people and those around them.
