It's important how that take you from point A to point B. I lived in Yugoslavia-Serbia, so my parents drove cars like Lada Riva 1300, Zastava 101, Zastava 750, Moskvich 2138, the best car that we ever had were Toyota Corolla E90 from 1990, and it was 2000-2. It was torture to drive that cars, especially on long distances. In winter it was cold as outside and on summer it was a lot hotter in car than outside. Many times I was traveling to next town, only 45km, I was whole in sweat if that was hotter day, and needed to bring other clothing and change it on parking site so I can go where I was up to. Not to mention engine overheating, loud sound of engine so you can't speak with people in car, pushing them to start engine, taking "rest" near road when you drive uphill in hot days or car take rest alone in winter days when he have problems with snow and start going back. Now I own S65 AMG Coupe and GL63 AMG, both from 2015. It's enjoyment to travel with this cars. One you can use for adrenaline rush, go on racetrack and enjoy your time, or go with wife, drive around and feel younger. Other one is great to take all your children and go on vacation, without fear will something happen with car. And you don't feel tired after long drive. My old cars drove my ass from A to B, but it was not pleasant ride, there were many problems and was not enjoyable experience at all. I will buy some old cars for my kids as first car for sure (something like Lada or Zastava), so they can see difference and respect and enjoy what they have.
Fucking beautiful, hopefully one day we'll all get to enjoy a car like this.

Even a 10 year old Maybach will set you back 60 grand at the very least and that is if you are lucky to find one that low, most 10 year old Maybachs are around 70-80 grand. Look it up yourself and do some research before you make comments that make you sound like an idiot.

Electric cars were around in the early 1900s, along with steam, and were abandoned in favor of the cheaper more reliable gasoline powered vehicles. If it wasn't for billions of dollars of federal subsidies, Tesla wouldn't even exist. As it is, because so much of our power grid is coal based, a Tesla is more like a coal powered car than a gasoline powered car. It is not a revolutionary vehicle.
