When you put in the title we were handed the keys and don't show you driving the vehicle it's a big letdown to anyone that watches your video. You pretty much did what every other channel has done. You did a walk around.
@@GTGarageTalk every other TH-camr that uses the phrase handed the keys means that the owner or the manufacturer has given them free rein to the vehicle. That's what I was referring to, when I read your video title I figured somebody finally got to drive it and film it. I was merely saying you should just have titled it 2025 4Runner first looks. Or something to that effect.
Im curious to know the actual mpg of this less 300 hp and big body. there is 2025 ford explorer turbo charge and the 3.0 turbo charge has 400 hp and torque. how i wish that has tuwin turbo to make at least 400hp or 350 at least.

Explain to me what engine choice has to do with value please? The GX is luke warm for what we pay vs. get feature wise (especially that trash screen they give us). Plus I still have to install a battery and solar equipment, then pay for premium gas on 17mpg combined. I'm partially considering waiting for the GX 550 hybrid to see if they do an electric 6, but they probably won't have the room anyway. Doesn't really matter if it's a 4banger or not as long as it has the power. I want it to be as QUIET as possible. I have a 600hp NA C6 LS3 and a 765cc motorcycle to appease my inner "man power". They are loud, so very loud, and fast. Just because people have made good decisions with their money and have money, doesn't mean we should just blow it on whatever gives us the "more manly engine".
I have a sneaky suspicion the 4R 4x4 models will be priced well over over 65K. These new cars are now straight for wealthy folks or broke people who dont understand anything about money. In the meantime, I'll keep my 5th gen and see how the 6th gen performs...

I have a 2008 4Runner and this is finally a worthy successor to the 4th gen. 5th gen didn't provide anything special over the 4th gen. There's absolutely no reason a turbocharged engine can't be reliable. Toyota designed these engines from the ground up. If you don't believe it can be done, just look their diesels which are all turbocharged and known to be some of the more reliable engines in the world.
I’m not a fan of the taco like seating, but love the rest of it. I’m just picky about the visibility, but it’s definitely just a me issue. I do like the change because it’s fun to watch a vehicle evolve. 👍🤪🏳️🌈

But compared to the dinosaur it replaces… lol. The other trims would line up better versus the Pathfinder Platinum as far as interior amenities, but the overall design stays the same.
Wish you had collapsed rear seats. Flush? Rear window is a 'so what'. When open, you come to a stop and the cabin fills with exhaust. Really disappointing the rear hatch is only evolved. Rear wiper? It stays constantly dirty with poor visibilty. I was hoping a version with FJ swing out door, not up.

It's already more powerful and gets better MPG though than the outgoing model. Most people who buy this don't work on their engines anyway.
$60K+ for a V4 😂 At that price, this won't make sense... why not consider the Lexus GX or a LC if u have the money.

The new 4Runner would be an absolute hit if it kept the v6 but a more modern version of the v6

Do you happen to know if the Trd pro model only comes standard with the I force max hybrid power train and not with it as a option?
It’s my current understanding that it is the only powertrain for that model.
