  • Let's chat about FEMININE OUTFITS. In this video, I share some practical ways to add some classically "yin" elements to your wardrobe as a flamboyant gamine. Most recommendations for FlamGams involve very masculine, yang-leaning lines, but a lot of you have asked me how to dress 'more feminine'. This video is second of a two part video on the topic.
    In the first video, I share with you my relationship with the word and what it meant to me in the past versus what it means to me now. These two videos are my attempts to tackle this topic and give you some easy ways to express femininity as a Flamboyant Gamine.

    Yay as a flamgam who basically only wears skirts and dresses this video speaks to me. Love how you approach this topic - you are so thoughtful in all your videos :)

    Omg thank you 😭 I’m all about femininity, so I was really upset when I found out I’m FG because the typical “boyish” looks are so not me lol! I appreciate you making this video 🥰🎀

    Emma looks so ironically bad ass in that summery dress! It looks separate from her in the best way possible... the champagne also helps lol

    As TR who knows so many Gs (SG and FG ) I think you have a unique kind of beauty. This beauty of being youghtful and sassy and much more . I think you can rock mix and match styles that are for Gs and FN only and like no other types . You have your uniqueness that's beyond words.

    Absolutely love this video, girl!!! One of the best you’ve done, in my opinion! I love this topic! I can’t stand the typical FG boxy, unfeminine looks! I want to look cute and girly, BUT follow my lines!!

    i love knee highs! breaks up a line and is super cute. especially with a pleated skirt. i feel like they have some structure and geometric elements while looking feminine :-)

    I really struggle with this as a curvy FG. Even at my lowest weight (100-115lbs) I still have a large chest and curvy thighs. So I feel like the high neck stuff does not look right on me. Especially structured high neck tops. Really anything too structured on top tends to make me look bigger because of my bust

    This video helped a lot. I liked the outfit analysis. I never thought it was possible for flamgams to look feminine in mostly yang lines!
    I'd love to see you building a more feminine outfits (either from your closet or trying on stuff at stores), you express your thought process very well, ever since I started watching you I find myself with better understanding of my choices and what to look out for (much clearer than any other posts and videos I've seen!).
    I wonder if you'll try out outfit designing on paper, either in a video or maybe a zine you could sell on etsy? if you're familiar with fashionpedia, I'd love to see a flamgam "handbook" of sorts with your ideas!

    Confused on what I am pretty sure I'm a soft classic and this is such an interesting topic since I always felt jealous of romanics because I'm feminine and wanted to have a feminine body and dress feminine but I didn't think I could dress the way I wanted as a soft classic and romantics feel the same it can be an awkward situation when your body type doesnt match your style or personality 😩

    • @marianasilva6807

      You could mix romantic and soft classic

    btw, i really think the egirl/soft girl style suits fg, and its pretty feminine. Like the plaid structured skirts and cropped tops.

    Can you do a video about styling a flamboyant gamine with a pixie cut? I cut my hair and my whole style changed, still working on adapting to it! Would love to hear your thoughts, love your channel xx

    Great video for tips for FG and how you got to were you are. Very thoughtful. You look so pretty, I like the whole look.
    I think FG's who are curvy are actually leaning SG, that's just my opinion.

    • @shireads2954
      @shireads2954 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      That depends on how you're using the word "curvy." Do you mean that they are literally more curvaceous? If so, then yeah that's a soft gamine. But if you mean they are carrying more weight, then they're still a flamboyant gamine. Weight gain or loss doesn't change your Kibbe type.

    • @sophiejohn2731
      @sophiejohn2731 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@shireads2954 I agree that FG carrying more weight is still a FG. Maybe I misunderstood but I thought the lovely Authentic by Frani meant there are some curvaceous FG. If so, I think those curvy Gs types are leaning towards SG.

    • @sophiejohn2731

      @Tea & Lean Yes I agree. I've learnt all from the system since then. Yes, all women have curves and not all need to dress for it. It's about what you need to accommodate. FG is narrow and petite.

    hi Frani, appraciate your videos. I have a suggestion. Can you make a video showing how to transform a look (hair, makeup, clothes and accessories) from, let's say, Romantic to Gamine using things you already have at home :)

    What's the difference between flamboyant gamine and just gamine (like pure gamine)?

    • @mayonesasierraleonesa
      @mayonesasierraleonesa 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      FG tends to be more sharper. Anyway, remember that Kibbe deleted pure categories like Gamine and natural:)

    • @bioluminescent13
      @bioluminescent13 ปีที่แล้ว

      An equal mix of unblended yin and yang would be pure Gamine. Kibbe now says people always lean more either Yin (Soft Gamine) or more Yang (Flamboyant Gamine) so he doesn't type people as Gamine anymore.
