Fellow Flamboyant Gamine here! I find Audrey Hepburn to be such a helpful reference for FGs, especially since a lot of advice online for us tends to be over-the-top and unwearable in most everyday situations. It's difficult when you're new to the system. Audrey Hepburn helped me to embrace my face shape as well, which is very square indeed.
Also, you have the quintessential flamboyant gamine shoulders! They're so difficult to describe, but they are so very FG. Audrey Hepburn has them, Andrea Martin (a Canadian actress I'm certain is FG) has them, Liza Minnelli has them, and you have them.
Anyway, just commenting to show my support.

I'm also a FG, I also have softly squared face ,Audrey Hepburn do indeed represent the FG really well. I always felt that I look a bit weird with my body and thanks to knowing I'm a FG , I learn to dress myself and embrace it :)

@@blawlim5048 Wonderful! That's why I love Kibbe's system. Rather than learning what needs hiding or "correcting", one learns how to work with one's own unique beauty. Oval faces and hourglass figures are beautiful, but they aren't the only kind of beautiful.

I'm a FG ,it's true that FG has more wider shoulders ,at least that is for me . I have very square and wide shoulders

Hello! I am a pure gamine, but slightly tending towards flamboyant. Audrey Hepburn is, as a matter of fact, one of my style icons.
My shoulders are tiny though, oen of the smallest part of my body...They're quite sharp and boney, me being really thin, but the actual shoulder bone is very small if you get what I mean. Clothes fit weird at the shoulders most of the time because of that (and in general)

Hey! Very cool. And I totally feel that. It's tricky to have small bones and be generally thin, but have slightly broad shoulders. Most of my struggles come with finding coats and fitted long sleeve shirts. I either have to fit my body or my shoulders. Rarely both!

@@franibeard I am just generally very small boned, but long boned...But VERY small boned. Arms are always way too big, wrists enormous. I have accepted it as a fact of life I need to take in cuffs several cm, up to 5 even. 'skinny' jeans are quite big around my ankles; clothes are often actually too big in my narrow-but sharp (D) shoulders. And besides being long-boned proportionally, they're not in practice - I better fit into petite sizes besides my average height (1m66) than tall sizes, which one might think I need for my proportionally miles long spaghetti arms. I am weird xD

@@gittevandevelde2208 FGs are Ying in skeletal bones and yang in flesh, so that explains it

Audrey Hepburn's shoe size was supposedly about size 10, and liked/pulled off kitten heels well, so I am guessing it is more of a personal thing of what one feels suits them and feels comfortable in. And different people always look a bit different, too, and wear things differently. I never really thought about that issue before, being barely over 5' but I see where you are coming from!
I enjoy your videos and am catching up on some older ones! You have a great peaceful presence!

I'm sad this series is over. Loved it so much, the Lisa Bonet episode was very informative, loved your example outfits throughout the series. Can't wait for more videos!

This helped so much! I thought I was or wanted to be a dramatic classic because I don't like the typical FG style at all, but this video and the one on Lisa bonnet helped me really understand what FG is all about, no matter what style.

this is incredible. I am putting out an album and am going with a modern Audrey Hepburn vibe, so I was doing research and came along this video. loved learning from you!

I'm pretty sure I'm a SG, but I prefer the FG style. Audrey has become one of my style icons while honoring my SG lines!

My overall shape is lanky and answer A. But if you break it down, my legs are shorter in proportion to my torso. I also have a waspish waist: I think what you are describing is a thin A waist that runs into a D hip and booty. Would you still recommend cropped ankles for me? Or something else? Pants are a struggle for me and my funky gamine proportions. My figure is generally a lot like yours. I’m 5’7” with pointy dramatic shoulders but somehow so tiny.

Hey Margaret! I would recommend the pants you feel the best in when you wear them. Whatever makes you feel most like yourself is what you should go for, in my opinion. I just put up a video about jeans (which I think you saw!), but I didn't discuss inseam lengths or anything. Maybe that would be a good follow up video.
