What's worse is once you get a ticket for overnight parking you can't get a parking pass until you pay that ticket. First ticket should actually be a warning. The second ticket should be an option of paying a $50 fine or buying a parking pass (costs $100). For visitors to the city, they should have overnight parking passes good for month, too, maybe $25 cost.
Totally agree. If you are paying rent or house payment it should come with a place for your car[s]. It is just a way for big government to reach in our pockets to take out more taxes without calling it a tax!!!
If a landlord does not have sufficient parking for his tenants the ordinance should be changed to giving the landlord a choice. If you have 6 suites but only 4 spaces you can only rent out 4 suites or you can pay the $100 parking fee for each suite not covered by your own parking area. That is the fair way of doing it since tenants have a reasonable right to expect at least one space for their apartment.

The last lady seems really genuine and honest. I like her, because her explanation is clearly not excuses like other women usually do in Judge Caprio court. I was expecting the judge give her a break by reducing the fine more than that.
I think it’s a slap on the wrist thing. He doesn’t let everyone get away, and he probably saw something that also had him be less lenient on her that we couldn’t see.

Years ago most cities of any size had street sweeper machines that they would run at night. The ordinance was adopted so that these sweepers could go up and down the streets quickly and efficiently.

As much as I love this channel, it also makes me grateful I don't live in a city, I'm about ten minutes away from a little town of 1000, the next town is an hour and ten minutes away(in the summer with good weather), with a population of 8000. Parking is never a problem and if a car light is out the sheriff just let's you know it's out, in case you didn't know, not even a fix it ticket. Life seems too complicated in most places.
