Parents can "encourage recent behavior" under the parenting category to give kids an extra boost to their character values after they do something good. It also gives the parent a boost to their parenting skill and helps trigger "full parent mode" more quickly. Same, teens just can’t join any university organizations until they’re young adults but they can attend university. I do think it’s true though that their careers are limited though. I find the easiest way to do university is live in a micro home and turn off aging once they’re ya until they graduate.
Same here. I turned aging off so my teen could actually graduate from university while still a teen. I wanted to know if she could get a job. Nope. Still only the teen jobs available. You can get as many degrees as you want while still a teen.
I was a little bummed to find out my Sim couldn't complete the Academic aspiration as a teen because teens couldn't tutor. So he'll be going back after aging up.

Ohhh, I get it now. The Growing Together pack is EAs way to make the players themselves start acting like parents. "Do your homework, your homework, HOME work, whatever - just whatever. Go to the park, no don't take your toddler sibling. WHY IS THERE A BABY IN THE PARK? Stop trying to feed the baby! WHY is the dryer broken?"
I got the same problem with toddlers disappearing and doing things on there own. I found out it happens when the game thinks the nenny is on the lot, but the nenny is invissable walking around somehow.
Oaks possession is a bug with the Nanny’s ! The nanny is on the lot but invincible, he was getting a bath from an invisa-nanny. If you control from the toddlers point of view you can still have invisa nannies do tasks, they still appear in the selection menu when you do “get bathed by” type interactions. James experiencing such frustration with his Sims is too relatable.
koji just disappearing into the backrooms left me in stitches lmao glad to see this game is as chaotic as ever
I went to uni as a teen a few times, James don't let them fool you. I age my sims halfway thru uni if they are teens so they graduate as young adults.
seeing you get as frustrated with this game's mechanics as i do is so validating lmao
35:17 was the funniest couple minutes of gameplay I’ve seen it a while 😂
