The owl on top of the stump and used as an end table is genius it’s so cute!
Cheap says homey and family takes precedence over money. The expensive says we live in a mausoleum, dont touch anything.
I think what would be a great video idea and a lot less restrictive, would be a cheap- vs expensive-LOOKING build. That way the price doesn't matter but the aesthetic does and you can get quite creative with it. I'd love to see you try it!

Hey Syd I have a challenge idea: making the truly tacky swatches work. A build with the jaguar or zebra print version of the expensive objects, maybe? I just think it'd be really cool since your builds are always so unique and beautiful. Feel free to ignore if this isn't something you'd find fun tho lol I hope this isnt too forward of me

I think it would be really fun to see a "high end minimalist" condo for a single person alongside a "lived in maximalist" condo for a large family. I also think a black & white monotone condo alongside a condo with no neutrals would be quite jarring and fun to see.

i was thinking, since it’s pretty much spooky season already, could you do every room or tiny house is a different scary aesthetic? so like dark fantasy/fairy, vampire, goth, dark cyber punk, creepy dolls, etc. that would be super awesome! 🥰
I feel like the reason cheap items don’t look bad (like in reality) is because the exterior is decorated well and the space is big.
I don't mind if I have fewer things in my room as long as it's spacious enough to fill with new items.

I love when you this challenges, but an idea for the most expensive side, you can use the expensive art that have beautiful frames and search on google the most expensive artworks and look for them on the gallery (like the Mona Lisa for example) and then do the hack that you always use of puting the pictures of the gallery on the sims 4 artework

This build is an area that's getting gentrified. It was a cheap inner suburb area, lots of students, factory workers, artists.
Now new money it coming in to buy the old buildings and striping them of the character that made this area a fun quirky place to live.
I love your build videos! Inspired me to start playing the sims again. I’m happy you are doing more gameplay videos too because I enjoy those also.

i've been silently complaining to myself about the Get Famous item swatches for so!!! that awful yellow "gold" is my worst enemy. i feel like even if JUST THE GOLD colour was changed to a nicer gold like most of the other gold accents on furniture in the game, it would look SO much better and way easier to match with other items! i've even looked for recoloured CC, but i can't find any, and it makes me so sad 😭 i also agree that we definitely need more expensive items! especially when several-generation families end up super rich, i always end up getting the same stuff over and over because they have the best buffs attached to them, even if i don't like how the objects look. you did amazing though, i LOVE the little owl in the grunge build 🤎

It's kinda the same, but wit h a twist, like you have to use, the most expensive stuff but make it to look like the cheap side, and vice versa, using the cheapest items, but trying to make them look fancy 🥰😁🤩 Love your vids! it’s crazy how the prices of items are so drastic between the different sims games. like, say what you will about it but, sims freeplay literally has items that are in the hundreds of thousands, but are super detailed 😂 it would def be funny to see syd react to some of those items from a diff sims game

I work at starbucks- you need to try an iced pumpkin spice latte adding 2 pumps white chocolate mocha and 3 pumps brown sugar, and oat milk and blonde shots. last part optional but it is the BEST fall drink!!

I would love if you would do this challenge in a different way: one apartement looks really grungy and run down and one apartement looks really rich and expensive. Focus on the styles not on the actual money of the items. You know what I mean? Love your video as always!

I went into this video thinking that of course the more expensive one was gonna be better. However, price does not mean nice! 😅 You made the cheaper side have so much more personality and all the things that were not matching really gave it a story whereas the expesive one felt more "steril" ❤ amazing build again! ❤

you should do a build challenge but it's EVERY pack (at least one item from each) on one side & base game on the other!! ik you have one similar already but every pack is IRL most expensive🫣
