- Quick note that I should have mentioned in the video, The F310 and F510 are corded versions of this controller, everything mention in the video applies to them as well except the F310 doesn't have vibration motors.

nice video but just so you're aware, the buttons you called bumpers are actually the triggers and the ones you were talking about before that (l1 and r1 on PS) are the bumpers
Thank you for this great review. I have just bought it and I have noticed a weird behavior of the d-pad, it has a little play that makes it rotating counterclockwise. Do you have the same behavior or mine is faulty?
Yes they do but when you move the stick while pressing L3 it doesnt work functionally

anyone know if there's a serial # that shows up underneath the packaging, because I wanna buy a new one from a store and return the broken one back to refund it as the new one.
quick question, this one or xbox 360 wireless controller?
Will it connect without the dongle? Like just connect to my computer via Bluetooth. And will it work with gba4ios?
I prefer this over the xbox controller any day mainly because of the battery setup the xbox takes way too long to get the batteries out of the pack this one seems it would be a lot quicker

I got one, I like it, I play racing part of RAGE with it, but the driver for Win81 doesn't exist, you should use xbox360 receiver driver, it works great in all games but if you switch to direct input mode and then switch back to xinput you will need to reinstall xbox360 driver again.

I used to have a F310 but unfortunately I broke it somehow. I would really like to buy the F710 but I hate the silver cover. Could I remove the cover from my old 310 and put it on the 710 or do I just have to stick with the silver finish? Also, has anyone ever disassembled the 710 and got it to work again? I've done it with the 310 and it worked like a charm after assembling it again but I'm not sure I can do it with this one since it's wireless.

Thanks for the advice. I got the 710 yesterday and the silver color doesn't bother me that much anymore so I'll probably just stick with this.
Is the F510 exactly the same as the F710 except it's wired? Or am I just better off getting the F310 since I'm not too bothered about vibration and it's also cheaper.
The F series are pretty much the same. The differences are:
- F310 is wired with no vibration.
-F510 is wired with vibration.
-F710 is wirelless with vibration.
Deadzones on the f310 are screwy the others have near perfect ones, if you're looking for the same price range get the rumble zone one instead, deadzones are spot on.

They are really good controllers otherwise, I don't need precision with my analogues, I only ever need a d-pad when I'm using a controller, platformers and old games only.
but if you play FPS on your pc with a controller (you're a fool) then you wanna avoid f310's

Yes it comes with the batteries already inside and no, there's a pull-out tab that prevents the leads on the battery and the spring to come in contact with.
got mine for fallout 3 on steam, I hope mine comes with a 6 meter usb extension, so IF it dosnt play that fallout I can add much needed slack for my less than one meter charger usb that Im presently using on my xbox one controller!

the logitech button on my F310 doesn't work at all
It works like an Xbox or PlayStation Home button.
So you have to be in Steam Big picture mode for the logitech home button to work.

yes you can do it it is not obligatory to use the extension and theres is no problem about doing that

Yes. I have Windows 8.1 and the F710 works flawlessly. Tested it with the games: Grid (2 & Autosport), Dirt 3, Assetto Corsa, ETS2, BF3, L4D2, GH3, Among the Sleep, Walking Dead, Outlast and a lot more.
It works wonders. Given that I've installed the latest OS updates and the latest drivers for the gamepad.
