It’s refreshing to listen to a TH-cam creator who doesn’t over share every element of their life ❤ You actually live the things you speak about in your content and it’s appreciated.
Second this :) I appreciate that content is about topics mostly and there are no fillers of moving and trips etc. I think it's easy to burn out showing every angle of your life as it feels there's nothing more just for you, like no home in your home.
In a time when the majority of people are so worried about image and are simply wearing the mask of a persona they think will get them external validation, you are so genuine; it’s a beautiful thing to see. You’re a wonderful role model. You’re lovely outside & inside. Thanks from all us viewers! 🥰
I adore you- your realness, your vulnerabilities, the way you keep your friends and family privacy. I’ve been a minimalist for years. For many years, I followed different TH-cam minimalists. Now, it’s just your videos. I think it’s because I resonate with your style of messaging. Thanks for all you share with us. You ROCK Vera!
In addition to having a truly genuine, inspiring channel, the outpouring of kind, encouraging comments you’ve received from your subscribers is a testament to your character and the kind of people you attract to your channel. Keep up the good work in whatever form works for your life!
I’m one of your older (older in every way 😂) fans…. I just find your videos so refreshing and real. I remember when I first found you, I had been scrolling through tons of different videos on minimalists and also just getting re-organized in general…. Your video made me stop scrolling! You really got my attention as you come across authentically. Thank you for all the effort you put in to your work, I sure enjoy the results!
I so respect that you separate your work from your personal life. Your content is rich and thought-provoking and it is obvious that you put much care and thought into it. It never comes across as filming for the sake of making content. I appreciate that on your channel. As a fellow HSP, I like knowing that I am not alone and can relate so much to your insights. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability.
Well, lots of changes happened to me this year as well, and one of the more important ones, was discovering this TH-cam channel :’) Beyond just the tips you offer, the kindness you radiate, and the compassion you embody has healed what many years of therapy didn’t for me. I don’t think I can ever come close to truly expressing my gratitude for stumbling upon your work. Super happy that you are taking time for yourself Vera. Wishing you all the ease, peace and slowness
I have recently started watching videos on U Tube and I really find your videos soothing to listen to. You have a wonderful vocal tone and you are very interesting. Don't be embarrassed by showing your emotions and vulnerability, it shows you are authentic.
"I don't want to live my life where I have to turn it into content." This is a remarkably profound statement, and is why you have loyal fans and are gathering new ones. You balance the public with the private but more importantly, sharing of yourself does not require the filming it, invasion of privacy and distraction from the real moment. I enjoyed hearing about your journey; the stress that also shares space with the best of times. In a lifetime, these often do come together. I will check out your bucket list composer. I am not familiar with him, and appreciate the chance to broaden my exposure to beautiful music. TY.
Vera, I reached to 8'52 and had to pause the video and say this. I feel like the past month (if not, months) has been very stressful for me too so I really appreciate this video. It's putting my emotions to words and things into perspective. I, too, am finding it difficult to be on top of things, socialize, maintain the apartment, take care of friendships, plan fun events. I've had big changes in the pas year, one of the best years of my life but one filled with stress. Though, I haven't walked in your shoes, I can relate to many things you shared and appreciate your sharing them
Vera, I just want to hug you and tell you everything will be alright. You are human with all you're feeling. Just take a breath, and slow down! Your fans love you.
You make me feel calm and at peace when I watch your videos. I have watched most of them over and over again. I take notes and condense them down and put them in a binder that I revisit at least twice a week!!! You bring me joy and serenity. Thank you so, so much...
Vera I've said this before on your channel like a few years ago... you are probably the most authentic creator I've come across. Started following you even before 5k subscribers and I still love your content. It's just so 'fresh' and calming 😊
Absolutely agree. You (Vera) are also the only person I support on Patreon. I think I've bought all your courses/ebooks too. Love your content, of course, but also that you aren't endlessly about upselling and monetizing - that makes me want to support your hard work even more.
You are such a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being authentic and not another content creator doing the exact same thing of someone else. We appreciate and value your uniqueness. *hugs*
@SimpleHappyZen I’m very new to your channel and so grateful to be here. This video is one of the first I’ve watched and my heart goes out to you for everything you’ve been through. I realize this video is now one year old so I hope you’re in a better place today. It takes a lot of courage to be as honest and vulnerable as you have been and those are qualities that make you such a beautiful person. Your humility and honesty are two of the reasons I’m so drawn to you. I’m excited to be joining your Patreon community, because I’m very interested in the content I’ve seen you post. As a fellow HSP and minimalist, always looking for cleaner, slower and healthier ways to live in this world, I look forward to learning from you. Thank you for being in this space 🙏💛😘
Aw thank you so much for your kinds words (and of course for joining us on Patreon too!). I really appreciate it. Yes, I'm feeling overall a bit better and more calmed down since making this video. :) I still tear up thinking about these things though lol. Take good care my friend, and have a lovely weekend!
I'm an HSP and recently found myself homeless. I totally understand the overwhelm of things that need doing and also how terrible it feels to not feel safe or secure. I've had a rough few years and am trying now to get back on my feet. Thanks for sharing. Love you Vera. ❤❤❤
I am so moved to see your happiness. Thank you for sharing some of your highs and lows. Ah, life. Stumbling upon your channel is one of the things I'm thankful for, from lockdown a few years ago. ❤ this community.
I adore Joe hisaishi. I listen to his music every day. One summer's day is my ringtone, reprise from spirited away is my alarm clock. I am so glad that you were able to experience a concert of his. I wish he will visit Greece one day but I am afraid that I will never be able to attend one of his concerts.
These personal videos are always such a wonderful treat, which is why I would HIGHLY recommend people join you on Patreon where such videos are more common. Hearing you describe your trip to London and especially the concert brought tears to my eyes, I'm delighted you had such a good time. As someone who lives a couple of hours from London and who has, if I'm honest, struggled to enjoy it when visiting (but then I've never actually properly visited it like a visitor, just day trips usually for some particular reason) hearing you talk about it has actually made me want to properly visit there as soon as I can 😀 You have zero to feel guilty about - it makes perfect sense that you want to live your life and not be focused on turning it all into content, and that's one of he many things that brings an integrity and authenticity to your channel that makes this truly the most enjoyable corner of the internet.
Hi Vera, Just wanted to thank you for your vulnerability. It's truly refreshing to hear you talk so openly about mental health and life struggles. Take good care of yourself 🤍
I’m one of the newer ones, although I kind of came back to this channel, having seen some videos long time ago. Dear Vera, I like watching your videos not only because they are practical, and helpful, and real. But also because of the calm and soothing atmosphere of understanding and warmth which you have created here. I’m in some kind of a stand-by mode, closing to depression on worst days, because of the ongoing war in my country, deep family and personal issues etc etc. Sometimes I feel like absolutely everything which could potentially go wrong now did go wrong. Videos like yours give me consolation and hope. Thank you❤
Vera, I am watching your videos since so many years now and I am actually not actively following so many people... I don't think you are "not making it right", you make it absolutely right! I don't have Insta or TicToc as well and I totally understand that you don't want to Vlog your whole life and you absolutely don't have to! We are here for your content as well as because we like you! Of course we are curious here and there but I feel you are sharing enough personal things. So don't feel bad. ❤
Oh thank you, that means a lot to me. :) I've been feeling a bit insecure about my work these last couple of weeks, and this made my day :) Have a wonderful day!
I've been watching your videos on and off for the past few years, but realized I never subscribed! When you mentioned to subscribe, the sunscribe button started turning strange colors. Must be a new feature! 😮 Amyway, I have officially subscribed. I love your videos so much and hope that the new house has started to feel more like home 🖤
Your channel is wonderful and refreshing! If anything, I really appreciate that you live your life mindfully instead of recording every little thing. To me, that is what makes this channel so special. I’m happy that you enjoyed your trip and got to attend the concert, and hope that your mental health improves swiftly as you slow down a bit! Please take good care of yourself.
I'm not a type of person who coments youtube, but I have to this time. I am a big fan of studio Jibli animation and Hisaishi san's music. And it is what I've been listening for years when I needed support and grounding. So, thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and emotions about the concert. I love a number of Miyazaki san's movies, it is hard to choose the best one. Like for me "Kiki's delivery service" is about finding your true self and gaining inspiration, "Laputa the castle in the sky" about strong bonds with people you can create, "Princess Mononoke" about people and word and hope, and so on. "To see with the eyes unclouded by hate" is the quote wich resonates with me a lot lately. "Howl's moving castle" is our family night movie. Sorry for getting too chatty. I also can spend hours discussing studio Jibli works😅
Aw I loved reading your comment, thank you!! I love all those movies for the same reasons :) I especially love the ones that explore how humans can peacefully and respectfully coexist with all life, and that show the consequences of when we don't (Like Nausicaa and Mononoke and Laputa and Pompoko), but basically I love all of them haha. :)
Ok you had my HSP self getting emotional right along with you. Life sure feels like a lot sometimes. I hope less stressful times are ahead. Your trip to London sounded amazing. I’m not familiar with Studio Ghibli but you make it sound like something I would enjoy. Hopefully I’ll be able to check them out sometime. Thank you for staying true to yourself. Your videos have helped me more than you could ever know. I’ve always felt kind of different so it’s been wonderful to find other people out there that I can relate to and not feel so alone. ❤
I think it’s a great idea to take a break. Good for you. You taking good care of yourself is beautiful. Perfect opportunity for me to watch old videos.
I can definitely relate to the stress of buying a house. I bought my first house about 5 years ago. I was 25 years old and buying on my own. It was exciting, but stressful to the point that I was the most physically unwell I think I've ever been in my life. I was having regular spells of feeling panicked and dizzy. I was checked out by my doctor and told I was fine. Fortunately, I got better once I'd settled into the house, so I can only guess my physical symptoms were manifestations of the mental turmoil I'd been going through, which in itself is kinda scary.
New subscriber here - hello from Denmark :-) Soo good that you are listening to your body and slowing down when you need to! I just bought and moved to a new place, and it is a lot to handle even without a health scare.. Sending good energy to you and your mom. Take care and thank you for doing what you do;-)
I can empathise with you - different reasons, but same result: sky-high anxiety, being stressed to the max and unsettled. Everything you said about how you were feeling resonates with me. I get it, I am really struggling this year. Sending you peace and well wishes. Know that it will get better ❤️🩹
You are absolutely doing this "you tube thing" right! The most important message that you bring to us is about living authentically, and with intention. Part of that message is delivered to us in the ways that you choose to do this work. Thank you for this video - a very powerful one, for me. I love Studio Ghibli, and I'm also a musician. I know how powerful the arts can be in changing our lives (or even just our day). Thanks for the reminder of that.
I love how music moves you. The arts are indeed so magical and transformative. I can completely relate to that feeling when things around are suddenly not so familier and comforting,😊 but I hope your recent trip helped jolt your happiness factor for you.
I love how you are being present in your life. It is very good advice. I’ve often wondered what it’s like for TH-camrs to be sharing so much of daily life. When I was sharing more on Facebook, I started thinking in Facebook comments. 😂 I’m so happy that you were able to go to the concert. The music you linked was very beautiful. ❤
I have high anxiety too, Vera! Sometimes it gets better and sometimes, it seems, that it just gets worse and everything happens at once. I think anxiety is just something we have to deal with. For me, keeping negative people away from me helps me heal.
Thank you so much for showing your vulnerable and emotional side! ❤ Thanks to you I feel understood when there is a lot of change in life (emigration, house remodeling etc) and that can be overwhelming at times. I am so happy for you that your dream has come true 🎉
I think you are amazing and do a wonderful job. You are right to separate work from your personal life, we enjoy everything you share and respect your right to your privacy. I see so many people who have their whole life on video and pictures that it is hard to believe that they really enjoy life around them. I’m glad I didn’t have all this technology when I was young, I don’t need everything I did documented or shared with everyone. Thank you so much for doing this and sharing with us!😃
Great to hear that you’re slowing down to take care of yourself and being in the moment when you’re traveling. You don’t need to apologize for not sharing more I respect that you don’t! I don’t have FB and the other ones because I enjoy my privacy! Please keep doing you and enjoy every minute! ❤
I for one actually appreciate that you have a better (what feels to me like healthy, normal) boundaries around what gets shared and that you aren't on every single social media platform. All that stuff gets easily overwhelming, and I often feel annoyed/bored that I see the exact same posts on all the platforms I have accounts on. The "normal" content creator way of doing things feels more artificial, contrived, and fabricated to me. Your seem much more authentic :)
I'm usually a silent watcher but I'm so glad you got to do something so special and so meaningful. I love watching your videos and they're helping me be more intentional with everything in life - work, purchases, chores. You're incredibly inspiring. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
Hey Vera!! Great cozy video this week and thank you for sharing about the overwhelm experiences and opening up about your feelings about the different challenges. Also, congrats on your trip to London and experiencing the concert. As a Christian I believe that there are no coincidences but that this was a wink from God to give you hope and inspiration in the months ahead. Keep going strong and you are in my prayers every day😊. Be blessed!
I can so totally relate Vera as I too have had so many things happening over the past 2 years and I find that, lately, I can start crying at the drop of a hat. My younger brother died suddenly in Feb. 2021 followed by my husband who also died quite suddenly. No sooner did I barely begin to deal with that and then my best friend died suddenly in May of 2022, and then my mother passed in September of 2022. I did have the blessing of wonderfully supportive grown kids with the most fabulous in laws too or I may have crumbled. However, I was blessed to be reunited with a man that I loved very much as a young woman and our reunion has given me so much fulfillment and happiness. The problem is that his 2 daughters have made the past year horribly stressful as they want their father to always grieve their late mother, so it hasn't been easy, to say the least but we're determined to live our lives with what time we may have left on this earth and hope that they can accept the fact that their father is happy and isn't that what we all strive for, a bit of happiness and hopefully, love in this world. Sorry for this long comment, Vera, and I'm so happy for you, that you got to hear your beautiful concert and that you loved England so much. ❤ Eng
Thanks for sharing your wonderful story and pictures of your travel Vera. It is indeed a roller-coaster ride. It's just life happens. Too many ups and downs but we just have to move forward. Same as you, I also count small little things that makes me happy. I love all your videos so please keep making videos to inspire us all. Thanks!
What a wonderful video! I so enjoyed you sharing parts of your life with us! You made me cry, laugh and nod my head in total agreement! I truly love listening to you share your soul with us!
The reason I love your videos is because they are so relatable to my life and how I deal with things. I am also highly anxious and get physical symptoms from my anxiety. Your videos help us viewers realize that we are not the only ones dealing with ups and downs this way. I always love your content. Thanks for sharing. Congrats on doing your #1 bucket list item! That’s amazing!! Sending love from the USA!
Thank you so much Laura 🤗🌱 I'm glad that sharing my experience with anxiety is helpful for others as well. Take good care of yourself and remember that it's okay to ask for help if you need it. 🤗 🌷 Sending a hug your way
London is amazing! I am from Canada and have been fortunate enough to travel there for work many times. It is my favourite city by far! Vera, keep doing what you are doing and never feel guilty, you are an inspiration. Thank you for being your authentic self, it is so refreshing and appreciated.❤
I am so grateful that I came across your channel. Your videos are so informative and such a calming influence to me. I love your content and always look forward to watching your videos. Vera I may not know you personally but I think you are such a beautiful person inside and out, kindness radiates from you. Keep up the amazing work ❤
I am so grateful that you shared with us. I have also been overwhelmed with life and all the major life events that have occurred over the last TWO years. Two job changes, burnout, money, parents both very ill, etc. So, I appreciate your honesty. Thank you!
Hi Vera, I'm subscribed to your channel for a few years, and I think you're very special. You never need to feel guilty for being different. Being loyal to your true self is so important, and we love you just the way you are. Also, I really enjoyed this video, and I was touched to see how much the concert was meaningfull for you, it was honestly moving ❤
Vera I have been through alot of things this year also. I've been dealing with medical issues and I still am. You do know have to apologize for wanting some of your personal life to yourself. We understand. Thank you for all you do. Sending hugs ❤
Hi Cathy Lynn. Thank you for your kind words, and I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues... That sucks... Hope everything works out for you, sending a big hug your way 💕
Oh that's wonderful!! Yes so many people cried with our concert too haha. I think Joe Hisaishi even got emotional himself because of all the standing ovations :)
I really like the idea of aiming to do the number one thing on my bucket list. Or to focus on one thing from bucket list rather than just seeing a number of things that is overwhelming.
Thank you, Vera for sharing your innermost thoughts and emotion. It's wonderful that you trust us your subscribers and TH-cam community and dare to be vulnerable. I am so excited and happy for you that you got to see Joe Hisaishi live in London. Take it easy and find balance and relaxation during your slow down months.
Oh my gosh Vera. My heart goes out to you. Thank you for sharing these vulnerable thoughts. Many of us can relate right now. I've being going through a similar thing this year (had a big move which triggered all the bad mental health symptoms to come back in full force) and ended up seeking out therapy. I hope you find peace of mind during your slow months ❤
Aw thank you! Yes it's interesting what a move can trigger... Hope you're feeling a bit better! And yes, I'm already starting to notice positive effects from slowing down, and my body finding its balance again. I think it's important to be extra nice to ourselves during these times. :) Sending a hug your way!
Dear Vera, I have been watching your Videos for only a couple of month now. You have helped me accept myself - my body, my sensitivity, all the traits of my personality that didn‘t Seem to fit into the Environment I live and work in. You can‘t Imagine how much this changed my Life, my relationships and my courage to move on in Life. Feeling with you all the ups and downs in your year so far Made me want to give something back and wish you all the best in the world! Thank you so much for your work! 😊
Oh my goodness, I so agree with you about watching the Studio Ghibli movies in Japanese with subtitles. The dubbing completely changes the whole experience (and not for the better...). And it's so great to hear that people were able to attend a performance without recording it on their phone 😒
Dear Vera, I just want to give you a hug. What a gerat moment to get the tickets for that concert. I came back from a singer/songwriter convention today, and I so much agree with you about the healing powers of art and music. *hugs* I love your videos, and I appreciate it how you think about being a content creator and keeping your privacy.
Awwwww, I cried with you love. Your emotions came through my channel so strong. I’m pretty sure I saw myself in you. Thank you for being in your truth and letting others know that creating balance is ok. You are so adorable 🫶🏼
21:00 You're doing it you way. There's no right or wrong! You're a very authentic person. Also, I love your videos. I also love Studio Ghibli and I'm glad that we have this in common! I'm happy about your travel and concert experience. I hope you can enjoy the rest of the year 😊 Thanks for your content, Vera. (My favorite Studio Ghibli movie is Kiki's Delivery Service)
Wonderful video, I love these heart to heart chats. I appreciate your integrity to yourself of how you wish to live and record your life. I think those boundaries would be good for your mental health and relationships. ❤
Love your videos, whenever they come out- more or less frequently as long as you are taking care of yourself in the process. Always enjoy them & lots to re-watch as well! As always. appreciate your sincerity and sharing! I feel like I can relate to so much of what you share 😊
Dear Vera, I've been following your channel since almost the beginning, and I think you are a loving, wonderful Person who has helped me in many ways. I relate a lot with you, I've been feeling like the world is too much for me, and knowing someone feels the same makes me feel more normal and not crazy. Thank you for sharing , I am so happy you were able to be there at the Konzert, I was also able to see my favourite singer this year (Jack Johnson) and I know what a feeling that is. I send you a hug with love and joy, and trust everything is going to be OK, sincerely Cristina
Aw thank you so much Cristina, I don't quite know what to say! Thank you for all your support all this time! You're definitely not alone in that experience 🌷❤️ Sending a big hug back 🍵🌱🤗 Also, so wonderful that you got to see your favorite singer as well! That's an experience you won't forget :)
Hi Vera! Thank you so much for sharing this video! As someone who is also a HSP and who has anxiety (and who also has weird thoughts about strange things like teeth and hair when overly anxious lol), your videos help so much and bring a sense of calm. Wishing you all the best! Thank you again for this video and all your others too! PS my favorite studio ghibli movie is spirited away 😊
I also just returned from my first London trip and absolutely fell in love with it! I also had a small dream come true there... My favorite author is Agatha Christie and I got to see her Mouse Trap play!!!
OMG you are so genuine)) Thanks for sharing the things that are valuable to you, it’s just like talking to a close friend about things that really matter ^_____^
Congratulations on fulfilling this long-held dream! Music and art are good for the soul. I'm glad you got to enjoy his music and the beauty that is London!
Hi Vera I can relate to how overwhelming it is whenever life brings about a change. Being a HSP myself ( identified thanks to you) even a preferred change such as packing for a trip, a new assignment, etc can be very emotional. The only solace is that after a while there is a sense of calm acceptance. I'm glad you got to attend an event that you were longing for. God Bless
Please don't feel guilty for doing things your way! 💚 I've always thought that taking too many pictures or filming an experience actually takes away from it. You cared about the concert enough to focus on just experiencing it without filming, so why shouldn't you have the same care and respect for other events in your life? Your channel is great the way it is, and while vlogs can be fun, they're somewhat overrated 😄 I haven't seen any Studio Ghibli movies, but I think you've now convinced me to give them a go 😁
Hi Vera! 🤗🌺💝 Thank you for sharing your feelings with us! I appreciate this kind of content, and the fact that you still keep your personal life private. Please don't feel bad about not sharing every single thing about your life, or being present in other social media apps. I'm actually happy to know that you can draw those boundaries between work and personal life, and be able to enjoy your everyday experiences without worrying about using everything as content. 🤗🙅🏽♀️🪷Sometimes, I feel bad for those content creators who do that because it's like they can't have a life. I'm glad to know you enjoyed your trip so much and specially the concert. I will be looking into him 😉
Dear Vera, thank you for this personal video. I was having difficulty starting my message, my mind was all over the place. You evoked so many thoughts and feelings... 2022 was that kind of year for me. Life-threatening health issues occurred simultaneously for me and members of my family and time just stopped. I went into survival mode. I couldn't process any thought, desper was the only feeling for me. I guess, my endless love for my daughter was the one that kept me going. So I say good for you, for re-evaluating things and prioritizing Vera. I am very happy that you accomplished one of your most disired goals. I hadn't heard of the movies you mentioned nor of the music. I listened to the song you linked, it was really emotional. So I might look for a movie as well. Thank you again for being you and for keeping us such comforting company. Sending you my love.
Thanks for the update. It complements your minimalism lists to see how a real person applies it. And if it's therapy for you to talk about these things, it's "free" in the sense that you didn't buy a product that might have ended up being a lesser or short-term benefit, so that's a good example too.
Oh girl!!! You could have made this video for an hour or more and I would have listened to all that you spoke! You are such a beautiful soul out there🤍 with whom I personally resonate. All things you said about keeping your work /content creation and living your personal life separate totally resonates. Not vlogging as I don't want to think about camera angles all the time🔥💯 rather LIVE LIFE every moment to the fullest through my real lens(eyes)! Will check on studio Ghibli Japanese as mentioned and I am glad you were able to navigate through all your emotions and thoughts and come out stronger wiser 💫🌻
Its natural to feel overwhelmed at times. Ive also just bought a house and just trying to take things step by step to lessen the overwhelm as its such a big thing
I've definitely had years where a lot of challenges happen or where a lot of changes happen. They take their toll so it's wise to step back and slow down a bit
I'm so happy you had a lovely time here in London. From the photos it looked like you packed a lot in, in a short space if time. When I work in the office I get train into central London, then walk over Tower Bridge to get to the office. A true highlight of my day every time I do it, to work, and back home
And I was thinking your hair was looking particularly lovely today. These kinds of videos are why I subscribed. Advice is great but, how you apply it is much more real. Life deals out experiences. How we deal with them is what makes the difference. So proud of you for making decisions that improve the quality of your life and grateful that you are sharing that with us. Big hug.
Aww Vera I just want to hug you! I’m so happy that in the midst of your challenging year you were able to have a trip and musical experience of a lifetime. I’ve just listened to the piece of music you recommended and it takes me to somewhere heavenly ✨ I highly respect that you didn’t record the concert by the way! I will definitely check out some Studio Ghibli movies (in Japanese!); they sound perfect for sensitive souls who are prone to worrying/feeling sad 🤍 I’m delighted you enjoyed London! I lived there for 8 years doing theatre work; I live in Bath now and even though it’s lovely, I miss the buzz and eclectic nature of London and may move back! For your next trip I recommend visiting ‘Fortnum and Mason’ in Piccadilly - it’s a luxury department store that specialises in tea and tea accessories 🫖 😍 it’s so shiny and elegant and fun to look in! Your videos always bring me comfort and joy, especially as you are an HSP and a pretty unconventional person like me - I wish I could meet more people like you in real life! Thank you for all you do 🤗
Thank you so much for your vulnerability and authenticity in sharing life, ideas, habits, perspectives and lifestyle with us. I so much admire your leaning back in your sharing, rather than filming every detail as content potential. I 100% agree with not viewing life through a camera lens. There's such beauty in the moments that, for one thing, a camera can't capture and for another thing, ensures that we will miss the tiny contexts and nuances of the moment by being in filming mode. You are exemplary at living your TH-cam life with grace. I'm impressed. I've watched one Studio Ghibli movie and I can't remember which one. As a musician and music lover, this is one genre I've overlooked. Thank you for the passionate endorsement. I'll be checking it out. Congratulations on your excellent year and enjoy your October ease. xo karen
Take care of yourself, Vera. We all have to slow our pace and just escape from our work. Alone time is a must for me and after getting older, I realize I do not have to live up to others’ expectations anymore.
I am so glad you got to live your dream. I lived in London for 3 yrars before I moved away. I prefer london as a place to visit rather than live. I find it's size a little impractical for everyday navigation. I agree that it is a wonderful city to visit and experience. I personally think that Amsterdam is more relaxed and navigable but I have only experienced it as a visitor. I find it inspirational that you live your best life on your own terms. Keep being you.
I can relate to prefering cities to visit instead of living there. I actually enjoy visiting Amsterdam sometimes, but would never want to live there hahaha. :) Have a wonderful day!!
It’s refreshing to listen to a TH-cam creator who doesn’t over share every element of their life ❤ You actually live the things you speak about in your content and it’s appreciated.
Thank you so much 😊💕
Second this :) I appreciate that content is about topics mostly and there are no fillers of moving and trips etc.
Ah that's so kind of you to say, thank you!! ✨🌼 Have a wonderful day today
Oh my word? I bet that concert was amazing. Oh man. I cannot imagine.
Ah thank you Deborah, you rock too! 😁🌷✨💪
In addition to having a truly genuine, inspiring channel, the outpouring of kind, encouraging comments you’ve received from your subscribers is a testament to your character and the kind of people you attract to your channel. Keep up the good work in whatever form works for your life!
Aw thank you Alice!! I agree, this community is absolutely amazing ❤️ Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Agree! I'm 50 and to me, she is so mature and real.
Wow, I don't know what to say 😢 Thank you for your kind words, for spending time with me and wishing you all the best!!!
TY.
Aw thank you :) That means a lot ❤️ Also, so nice that you want to check out Joe Hisaishi 💕
Vera,
I reached to 8'52 and had to pause the video and say this.
Thank you Peggy, your comment made me feel better 🤗💕
You make me feel calm and at peace when I watch your videos. I have watched most of them over and over again. I take notes and condense them down and put them in a binder that I revisit at least twice a week!!! You bring me joy and serenity. Thank you so, so much...
Vera I've said this before on your channel like a few years ago... you are probably the most authentic creator I've come across. Started following you even before 5k subscribers and I still love your content. It's just so 'fresh' and calming 😊
Ah wow, thank you so much!!! I really appreciate all your support all this time 🤗💕
Absolutely agree.
*hugs*
Aw thak you so much 🤗❤️🍵 Have a wonderful day!!!
@@SimpleHappyZen You too!
Aw thank you so much, your support means a lot 🤗🌷❤️ I love this communtity too, haha!
P.S. Your TH-cam channel is a breath of fresh air. Don't change a thing! Love your simplicity and authenticity.🙂
Oh so nice to meet a fellow fan!! :) I hope he will visit Greece one day :)
These personal videos are always such a wonderful treat, which is why I would HIGHLY recommend people join you on Patreon where such videos are more common.
Hearing you describe your trip to London and especially the concert brought tears to my eyes, I'm delighted you had such a good time. As someone who lives a couple of hours from London and who has, if I'm honest, struggled to enjoy it when visiting (but then I've never actually properly visited it like a visitor, just day trips usually for some particular reason) hearing you talk about it has actually made me want to properly visit there as soon as I can 😀
You have zero to feel guilty about - it makes perfect sense that you want to live your life and not be focused on turning it all into content, and that's one of he many things that brings an integrity and authenticity to your channel that makes this truly the most enjoyable corner of the internet.
It’s nice to see someone so genuine… look after yourself and thx for sharing 🥰
"Love Your Videos! Hang in There, it's been a bit anxious for most of us lately!"
Hi Vera,
Just wanted to thank you for your vulnerability.
Amyway, I have officially subscribed. I love your videos so much and hope that the new house has started to feel more like home 🖤
What a wonderful experience for you! As a Londoner I’m so glad you enjoyed your time here and that you’re excited to come back 😊
Thank you!! Yes I loved it so much, can't wait to come back. I wish I could spend a couple of months there... maybe sometime in the future :)
Do not feel guilty for those things. I appreciate that you have boundaries
Love your vids! So peaceful. There my favorite to play while I drink my morning coffee
Aw thank you!! And good morning! 🤗☕
Aw thanks Joanna, I appreciate it :) Have a wonderful weekend!
I understand your desire for privacy and living in the moment!
I applaud your decision and authenticity . Love it!
P.S. please safeguard your weekends for YOU 👍
It's good to hear your voice. And be honored to hear some of your most personal, and tenderhearted stories. What a beautiful soul you are, Vera.
Aw thank you, that's so sweet! 🤗🌱 Have a wonderful day today!
I look forward to each one of your videos,Vera! So glad that you made your dream come true! Your content has a healing power for me! Best wishes!❤
Thanks to you I feel understood when there is a lot of change in life (emigration, house remodeling etc) and that can be overwhelming at times.
Thank you so much for doing this and sharing with us!😃
Thanks Darren, I appreciate that 🤗 Have a great weekend!!
Ah wow, thank you! :) That's really nice to hear :) Have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
Be blessed!
Great video today! You had me crying too! Love to support you and I look forward to your videos no matter when you put them out. 🙏🏼💕😊
Same, I was tearing up as Vera shared her feelings. Yet, I find her presence calming and truly relatable.
Congratulations on your new place and on going to the concert. I am glad you and your Mother are healthy Thank you for being you.

Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind words :) Sending a hug your way, take good care!!
Thank you!
I feel the same way about Hans Zimmer!
Aw thank you so much and thank you for your support all this time! 🤗❤️ Have a lovely rest of your weekend
Hope everything works out for you, sending a big hug your way 💕
@@SimpleHappyZen thank you 😊
I watched his concert once here in my region. I cried when he walked up the stage.... ❤
Vera, so sweet of you to share! I am so happy to see you looking so good. You are lovely in every way! I love the channel!!!
Dearest Vera, no wonder, that new subscribers are coming:-) Your energy is so soothing and you´re an inspiring girl.
Aw thank you! 🤗🌷💕 Yes I feel like this community is such a positive and safe space. :) Have a wonderful weekend!
I hope you can enjoy the rest of the year 😊
Thanks for your content, Vera.
(My favorite Studio Ghibli movie is Kiki's Delivery Service)
Wonderful video, I love these heart to heart chats. I appreciate your integrity to yourself of how you wish to live and record your life. I think those boundaries would be good for your mental health and relationships. ❤
I just love authentic people like you. ❤ Absolutely lovely.
Hi Vera
I can relate to how overwhelming it is whenever life brings about a change.
Your channel is great the way it is, and while vlogs can be fun, they're somewhat overrated 😄
I haven't seen any Studio Ghibli movies, but I think you've now
convinced me to give them a go 😁
Aw thank you! I won't feel bad about it anymore :) Also, let me know if you end up watching one of them and tell me what you think! :)
Haha aw, thank you so much for your kind comment 🤗❤️ I loved it. Have a wonderful day and let me know when you've seen a Studio Ghibli :)
I also went to London last May 2023 with my daughters and it was an awesome City!
I am from the Philippines 🥰
Happy for you!
I was in London earlier this year and had a wonderful time. I haven’t been since 2001. I like visiting all the markets.
Thank you for sharing. You are indeed a special person and for that it is appreciated.
Nice gift for this Saturday 😊☕ thanks for not being the usual youtuber oversharing about her personal life! Keep it your style
Aw thank you, happy to hear it was a nice addition to your Saturday! 🤗☕🌷
💯 agree. It's one of many reasons why Vera's vids feel similar to listening to a dear friend.
I will definitely check out some Studio Ghibli movies (in Japanese!); they sound perfect for sensitive souls who are prone to worrying/feeling sad 🤍
I’m delighted you enjoyed London!
I live in London now and I agree, I love Tokyo & Reykjavik so much, they're all my fav cities
Yay, I'm so happy for you!! I know what it's like to have a dream come true like that❤
