Idyllwild and neighboring Pine Cove are some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever experienced in Southern California. So, so beautiful and I found everyone that lives there to be friendly, warm, inviting and likeable. Great camping sites, too. Wonderful video. Thanks for sharing this with us all.

Beautiful. I used to hike and camp a lot in the late sixties and early seventies with my husband in Yosemite especially. It wasn’t crowded back then. Lived in San Francisco. I love these videos.

I’m at 92,000 miles and I’ve had zero problems (except some rodents chewing wires, but they chew my neighbor’s car wires too, so 🤷♀️) Definitely my favorite vehicle so far.

What happened to your other channel, are you not reselling anymore? I enjoyed watching your hauls.
You might be the perfect person to ask this -- I'm about to leave on a SUV trip with my dog, heading to Mojave National Preserve from the Bay Area. The greater Tehachapi area would make a great stopping point for Day 1. Got any good recommendations for where I can camp / boondock? Is Jawbone Canyon OHV acceptable? Thanks!
Unfortunately, most of the Tehachapi area is private land, so there aren’t any free options here. We have a couple of paid campgrounds, but the roads to them could still be closed for winter weather. Jawbone is a cool spot in the desert for off-roading, but I’m not sure I would camp there with all the off-road vehicle noise, but it’s an option. I personally would pay a little to camp at Red Rock Canyon State Park. I go hiking there a few times a year and I like the camp spots. Have fun! 😊
