I'm glad it was you doing the taste test not me. It was an interesting test thanks, it does make me wonder about the detailing industry and how much the chems cost to make and how much is marketing.
The idea it will damage/strip paint is nonsense. A ceramic coat it wouldn’t even touch. Hope you’ve got yourself a short trigger gun. Yes dish washing detergents are not designed for car paintwork and can (if left to dry) stain certain surfaces. Gyeon actually say in their ceramic coating prep intructiobs to use a dish wash detergent and they know their stuff…..
Being honest only used it a handful of times, so I'm not sure about the clear coat. What I can tell you is the spray wax that I put on my cars when I usually clean them gets removed when I've used fairy liquid 👌
I work in optics and the amount of times I've seen coatings crazed from people using soaps like fairy liquid is nearly a weekly occasion. It starts to strip the lacquer coating (hard coat) which afterwards will start to create crazed lines across the lens or it starts to peel the coating from the edge to inner of the lens. Same when people use warm to hot water as the coating shrinks while the lens doesn't shift. Hopefully you're not using a 'harsh' soap, but you can actually get hold of concentrate lens cleaner which you mix with water, just place it in a spray bottle and you'll probably be better off ✌️
"It's mild enough for you to use with your bare hands, BUT IT WILL STRIP THE PAINT OFF YOUR CAR!!!" Who the hell came to that conclusion, and why...? By the way, that foam cannon looks identical to the AutoGlanz Snow Storm I have. Anyone know who actually produces them?
thnxs 4 the video great job done just bought a brand new car but 2 scared 2 take it 2 a car wash as i have heard lots of horror storys. so looking at videos how to wash car dont wont car 2 strip its paint off. can u please tell me the name and brand of the yellow machine u was using to put water on the car its krachi or something like that 😊

Back in 1985 I cleaned my Cortina with Fairy liquid regularly. No problems.
Fairy Liquid does a cracking job just make sure to use a scouring pad.
Great idea for another video 👌
Next week: “Will snow foam clean the dishes, taste good AND leave me with Fairy soft hands….”
Thats the title of my next video 🤣
@@charlieschannel4192 Aldi Magnum Washing up Liquid is better than Fairy and it's much cheaper.
I have always understood that Fairy Liquid contains salt, and so can be corrosive . But it gives a good foam.
Have a look for the msds sheet and try to spot the salt...
Not all salts are corrosive.
I've washed cars 100s of times with washing up liquid, never lost and paint
its a powerful degreaser. oil chain and sprockets after.
You NEVER cut your fairy with a knife! Any weekend warrior knows that! That aside, was surprisingly enjoyable 😂

Under No circumstances use any dish washer detergent on vehicle paint .
Chat shit
I cleaned all my Windows outside house and it realy did a great job
is it good if i want to strip all the waxes and sealants before polishing and reapplying a coating? or is it actually bad for the clearcoat
Being honest only used it a handful of times, so I'm not sure about the clear coat. What I can tell you is the spray wax that I put on my cars when I usually clean them gets removed when I've used fairy liquid 👌
Spent strip lsp well tbh
If i can clean my prescription glasses with it, it wont damage the paint. Just get a neutral soap without too much additives and you will be fine

I will happily add a little squirt of fairy into my ph neutral snow foam if I want the snow foam to do some real cleaning.
😂👌👌
whats this soft99?

The legendary panda will do you no wrong, very cheap to maintain, insure and fuel, comfort is okay, but not great 👌

I have allways used washing up liquid , no problem .
A did think there would be more suds
Should be titled " Goodbye any/all coating - notice this isn't the normal vehicle you use 🤣
Well yeah, I'm not an idiot 🤣
It’s the only thing i ever used
Whether it works or not is immaterial, dish washing detergent should not be used to wash a car because it is corrosive.
It really isn't you know. Classic example of illusory truth effect.
@@StromTrooper-650 So why is the chromed wire rack that I keep my dish detergent on corroded in the places where the detergent drips onto it?
@alan chase if it's wet a lot of the time it's probably the oxygen in the water reacting with the iron in the metal aka oxidation.
@@StromTrooper-650 Yes, but why does it only corrode where the detergent drips on it?
Lol I was planning to do this over my fruit tree to get rid of all the black flies and aphids.
Interesting idea, let me know if it works!!

@@charlieschannel4192 not according to which consumer magazine, in their test, Aldi Magnum washed more dishes.
bye bye coating layer
Exact reason I didnt use my car 😅
Why
Why to the video or why to not using my car??
Can you try shampoo next ! Or bubble bath !
Did you write that comment before or after watching the video?
Or did you watch it at all...?
Of course you can’t!
snow foams are made for snow lances and even car shampoos...leave the fairy for kitchen 😂
Don't wash your car on your driveway, it's horrible for the environment! Take it to a washing station!
So is breathing what you like
Why so you want to goto a pop up car wash where they use acid wash, well that’s a bright idea
