Ok, I'm from germany. In my youth I was every year at the beach and ocean with my parents. Now I don't need that anymore, ... BUT ... I dunno why, I would love to dig like that for clams.
There are limits of usually 15, no size reg. But ALL must be kept regardless of condition, (sometimes they get cut or crushed). Time of year is typically any other than summer, but varies.
