10:36 This is why Gouki will always be my favorite Capcom character. He is faster, more agile, more fucking awesome, has higher impact moves and supers. He's stylish, not a joke, and in game play he's even balanced! No one can bitch about Gouki because he's got a glass jaw. So, in the hands of a talented player Gouki is a beast. A beast that when played with skill becomes just that. A beast
@@stolensentience I haven't played SFIV or V, I couldn't honestly say if I like or disliked Seth. But I am not too excited about characters that "have other characters moves" That seems kind of ironic to say, considering you could say "Gouki is a shoto clone" ect ect. Except in cases like MK Shang Tsung, some SNK bosses, and, Seth, where in that case it's literally "I stole your soul/moves/technique" where as in the case of someone like Gouki, Ken, Sean, or other characters that appear like "clones" it's people studying a simliar style and developing their own personal takes on techniques and moves. I could be mistaken, but isn't Seth something like Vega's experiment of using World Warriors DNA and combat data to make the strongest fighter? I'm so out of the loop. Anyway thanks for the response! 11 years ago....ha.
I just got Third strike online today... I now, more than ever, appreciate the skills that these guys have. This is some seriously difficult and high level play.
is there any more kuroda vids from this years SBO? His team was ino, mov and himself but I haven't the slightest how they did or what their team name is.
I've played with JR quite a few times and we are about even I think. I posted some of my videos from 3SOE on my channel so you can see I am decent at this game. That said I think I probably wouldn't win a round vs kuroda in 100 games. He would scrape the floor against me with every character.
I can't even begin to explain how I feel about this video and it's matches.... Exhilarating....The reflexes....The red parries. I can't even think straight O_O And so smooth, like nectar. 5/5....No......100/5 stars.
Why does this seem faster to me? I have the PS2 version of 3rd strike and the characters move much slower than this video shows... Is there any way to speed it up or is it just the arcade version? :S Great much tho big fun of kuroda
Me too dude, I think they should stay as far away apart as possible lol. It's like mixing mortal kombat with viva pinata haha! It's just not gonna work out. xD
@LobeliaM72 I'm sure that thought is self comforting to you, though I'm not sure why it would matter either way wether I got over it or not. Do continue this dance, you waltz wonderfully but watch that two step.
Kuroda is godlike with all characters, but at his demand there is not much stuff about him online playing except the Q stuff. that is why many think he is playing only Q .
No. Apparently, he doesn't like people posting gameplay of him using certain characters. That's why we mostly only see videos of him playing Q even though he's ranked as one of the best users of around 5 other characters.
If anyone wants to see 3s at its best..with every mechanic used from anti-airs to red parry, parries and baiting parries...this video should totally be referred.
Please give me a straight answer and yes im a noob at this game, but can someone explain to me how parrying works and how to do it? i just cant seem to get it...
the ps2 version is actually faster in terms of parrying input time, command input time and etc. This is the main reason why the developers for the online edition wanted to emulate the arcade version perfectly.
@davidgem akuma is the only char that can execute three different supers in a battle. That one was the Kongou Kokuretsu Zan: down, down, down + 2punch streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/Kongou_Kokuretsu_Zan
Its 2019, 20 years later and this is still the best SF game ever
True
I believe this is why sf 3 remains as the last game in the canon of the series
@@machewgun503 last game? How? 4? 5? 6?
The level put on display here was done almost 12 years ago, and still be way stronger then 99% of players. Never not be amazing to watch.
I still come back and watch one a year
jab anti air lol
Man you can say that again. I watch these vids 13 years ago and still watching it till this day
I always come back to this every once in a while. These matches really make the game look like a martial arts
2:26 I love how Ken won that little pro face off. Hands down one of the greatest set of matches in 3rd strike history.
2:33 wow
Yeah was mad, you can see them just buffering
@@stedros footsies.
Thank you for bringing some sense into the comments. Comparing Kuroda to JR is unthinkable.
8:05 gotta love the triple tatsu
ScrubGouki 666 That is insanity. I thought that was a new super ive never seen in 3rd strike
These matches are gloriously epic. The level of play is amazing.
These were some good games! Ino gave him quite the run for his money, something you don't see very often in Kuroda matches.
what I live for 8:06..
8:06 ive been trying my whole life to do that one. 👏👏👏👏
I love the way SF4 looks like shit compared to this.
***** This is way more exciting.
in every way
lol i wonder what he thinks of sfv now
@@bryanchavez02 I think is still better than IV lol
@@patrick22014Based
i say this with no shame, Kuroda, Ino and MOV are the only 3 i really worship in this game
Still one of my all time favorite sets.
kuroda has a very nice akuma... my first time watching his akuma play
This match never gets old. Such high level play, very entertaining and insightful at the same time.
2:35 that whiff punish!
this might be the highest level of 3s ever...EVER
One of them
@@tyer6496 no he said what he meant
Loving Kuroda in this series, I also love the use of red parry by both players to allow for sick punishes.

By that logic you should love Seth too, but there’s really no comparison; gouki 10x cooler

EPIC!
I physically moaned when i saw that play at 10:37
when is the video coming out of their SBO win?
amazing use of the red parry by both players. kuroda plays akuma the way he's meant to be played.
Ya i noticed that too, every time he knocks him down he would always somehow time himself perfectly for a demonflip wake up game.. so pro.
5/5, obviously the larry bird and magic johnson of street fighter.

wtf @ reaction sa3 to low forward
and all the crazy red parries
and all those hurricane setups woow
10:38 Kuroda is a monster...
8:06 + 10:38 = GLORIOUSLY EPIC.
oh... whoops from some of the peoples comments i was under the impression it had finished already. Err when does it start?
These guys are really gud . the speed in wich they set their opponents up for the super art finish is amazing!
Ive never seen a match this good in 5 years.
Yo that sequence at 10:38 was just evil!
I can't believe this is 2008 play. Damn... 'wonder what they're doing now.
+darklightjg1 yes that's cool
it was flashy but i was thinking why not just take the damage and knockdown knowing kuroda and akuma juggle potential
Kuroda is a streamer now (kuroda236 in twitch), about Ino I don't know
jr did compete in this years evo tournament and got destroyed
I like how nearly every red parry attempt was successful.
2:37 was too damn of a good anticipation. Amazing reflexes man.

oh make more sense too since JR just uploaded a match versing a sean player in around the same time today...
@RajmanGamingHD With Kuroda being part of the Totalheads group with MOV and Poongko and their plans for 3SOE streaming, there is a possibility.
For a long time the Daigo vs KO match from Evo 2k3 was the highest level of sustained play I'd seen. Not anymore.

Why do they play first to 3 rounds?
in the arcade you typically only get one match so they put it on 3 rounds so you get your moneys worth

「クロダサイクロン」
「KURODA cyclone」
GOOSBUMPS....
Is this game on the PSN ??
If Ino's wife didn't get sick this yr. These two would be repeat SBO champions along with mov
Pretty impressive, though I can see traces of Kuroda's Q playing style while he plays Gouki. I find Kuroda's Q to be more interesting than his Gouki.
Cant wait for this shit to come out on XBOX and PSN. But for now, im on that GGPO!

No, especially not kuroda. He was kinda close at his peak at one point
