Among the more serious 3rd strike crowd I believe Aruka was quite well known many years ago. My friend who got me into 3rd strike mains Ibuki and used to say Aruka was the best Ibuki player in the world (at the time) by some margin. He is probably not as famous as many other older players because Ibuki is not as popular as some other characters, but I think he is certainly a player worth watching and knowing as far as 3rd strike history goes :)
