The unique talent of singing directly to the listener. I felt he was always singing to me. I just closed my eyes and listened and bless his heart he’s still intentionally pushing for the same expression of that genius, in this example from 47 years ago at my first ever hearing it in Something/Anything when I was just a young teen. Todd if you read this, thank you.
I'm living in the times of Covid=19, with my 6 Sting Cherry Red Guild, 12 string and an accordion downstairs. I looked for you in 1982 when I traveled to Woodstock: Bearsville. Also looked for you again when I travelled to Kauai: but we never met. Back in the day there was a producer named Robert "Bumps" Blackwell (co-wrote "Good Golly Miss Molly) with J. R. Penniman (Little Richard) who just recently passed. I was offered a gig in Chicago playing ethnic tunes but lost my ability to read...and was self conscious. I don't have your ear or ability's and in my opinion few if any do. Now in the times of "Son's of 1984" I'll tell them "Groucho Said" " it wouldn't have made and difference...." MO

His First album as "The Nazz" is perfect today.
Todd 's vocals are SPOT ON.. Fasetto is "melt worthy "
I learned this song on guitar and sang it to a girl who had broken my heart. It didn’t make any difference.
