I loved the earlier coverage of this joint as well. Today an entire episode on Tazza Thindi is really justified. That moment, when you filp opened the masale dose, we got a glimpse of its interior surface, its so colourful, as if its an art. The mix of red and the green chutney and at places where they meet, you get to see the shades of orange and green. The Amber sunset color of the dose, looks so beautiful from inside and outside as well. Its hard to believe that the kind of finesse that goes into every dose, with thousands of dose made with a machine level precision. Its an art, its good food and its taaza, true to its name. !!! Excellent coverage Kripal ji. The chow chow bhat..looks yum. I make different versions of weat rava khara bhaat every day at home and I cant wait to try making this version of it. And i am yet to mention the best part. The thaathe or the small plate like thaali.. I mean no plasticky feeling, its has good holding rim, it makes you feel as if one is eating at home. It makes you feel comfortable. In fact, because everyone can go in and out of the ultra hygenic kitchen and hold that thali and sit anywhere, socialize and eat the utterly delicious food , it actually feels like you are eating at home. Wow.. In 2014 I was in a field job in Bangalore. Still Remember that I had less money in pocket i visited this hotel.. & surprised on price tags they had..very economy & hygiene..It was crowded then also.. Thanks for refreshing my old memories.

I completed my graduation from Bangalore now known as Bangaluru more then 18 years ago and I remember quite a few places at Bangalore where I used to visit and have my food. One of the eateries I remember till date is Shanti Sagar at J. P Nagar near to my college. I vividly remember another Chinese Restaurant at Brigade Road called Shangrila. Those days there were sheek kebabs and lots of tikka/kebabs available at road side eateries at Brigade road. Another Sand-witch and beverage joint I remember is called Cool Joint at Jayanagar offering delicious and fresh sandwiches, ice creams, fruit juice etc. Another place I used to visit is La Casa at Jayanagar to have Sizzlers. The list goes on. I wish I could visit these places again. These were the typical college goers restaurant for me those days in 1998-2000. You actually made me nostalgic!

Places like this should exist throughout the country helping people with their ongoing struggle. I am not only talking about poor people but also the middle class people who work for long arduous hours and are paid peanuts. Most of there money is spent on getting basic food as they lack the time and energy to cook themselves. India is in a transition phase moral boost is much needed for those who are working to transform our country.

It's a wonderful place. But I believe in Karnataka the breakfast is incomplete when it's served without the traditional udupi style sambar. Uddin vada tastes the best when served with sambar. However it again depends on personal preferences. HotelPriyadarshini in Gandhi nagar just below Sri Ramkrishna lodge also serves brilliant breakfast. It's my favorite breakfast destination for mini idli and ghee masala dosa along with badam halwa. I am sure you ll love it. All the best
