This was a very interesting story highlighting your path to the airline industry. Many years ago, I worked for your airline and was lucky enough to be based in my hometown of LA. Although I am now a teacher, I still miss my time with your carrier and I consider myself very fortunate to have been hired by such a great company. I wish you all the best with your new career!
Hi there. Thank you for the comment. That’s great that you used to fly. I’m sure you have some great stories! It is a very interesting and wacky lifestyle. One I’m still getting used to. But I do love it so far. Well it’s never too late to come back if that is something you still want to do. :) Thanks again for watching and subscribing. Talk soon. 😁
You’re so handsome ….. in a good way! I worked at Tony Romas in Kihei Maui in the 90s. Restaurant ppl are the best! I’ve been a F/A for a major for 42 yrs ( soon to retire). Enjoy your airline career ….it’s changed so much!! A word of advise…just be chill, it’s the only way to survive & plz don’t trust mgmt ( they’re NOT yr friend ). Do sleep as much as you can and run away from drama! You seem mature & professional so I think you’ve got this. Good Luck🤙
Great advice. Thank you for that. Yes I do turn away from the drama because there is some I find. I appreciate your comment. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing. I’ll have more episodes coming up soon. Take care.
Congrats Santiago! Excited for your new chapter. You took such good care of Stephanie and I when you were helping us find our house, I know your new customers are in the best hands and are so lucky to have you!
For me I put in my application in April and I was in the line working as a full time FA by August! Pretty quick. But I don’t think that’s the norm. It will all depend on the airlines needs and when you put in your application. I’ve also heard that I took people almost a year to do what I did in 4-5 months. Thanks for the great question. 😃
Great question. I was 50 years old when I applied. From what I understand there is no age limit to become a flight attendant nor is there an age limit to remain a flight attendant once you’re on the line. If you’re thinking about joining at any age over 21, there is a huge diversity of flight attendants that come from all walks of life at all ages. Hope this helps. Thanks for your question. Have a great day.😁
You know what, I’m learning English from you! I like the way you express your experience very clearly!

Hey there Matt. Thank you so very much. So kind of you to say. I hope you guys are doing very well. Cheers! :)
From the day the application opened and video interview, F2F and until CJO, how long did the process take?

How old were you when you applied? Is there any limit age?
