The wifi reality really hits hard! There had been a few improvements even during this pandemic so I hope it continues to improve. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Philippines once again. Have a wonderful time
Yes, I know. Right? Hahaha. As a senior high school student, I've been applying to universities online but the wifi makes it forever to apply. And, when online classes, as well. I hope this gets to take an action.
Ahh I can't wait to go to japan soon, I also want to experience culture shock by me when I go to japan in the future. I'm currently saving money for traveling and my No.1 in the list is Japan because I'm a weeb sooo...
trust me, you're in for a wild ride hahaha. been to Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Yokohama) three times already. My 4th one will be this December. Just be sure to have your fully vaccinated card from the big 4 if necessary (Astra, Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen) as that is their preference now for tourist visa.
@@missplainjane3905 well my 1 week stay on my first trip, I got lost in Kyoto for a good 3 hours until I heard some people speaking in tagalog and I asked them for directions on the nearest train station that's tokyo-bound so i can go back to the hotel. second trip, a couple of binge drinking around roponggi and visited some shrines in asakusa. the funny thing is, even after all the street food and ramen that I ate, I still lost weight because of walking. those drunken nights at roponggi make you thank an open ramen shop on late nights. suggest you plan your trip and have an itinerary ready. a week of stay is not enough and i definitely suggest 2 to 3 weeks of stay if you plan on checking out everything.
Living in the US for the past four decades and moving to Manila a few months ago, I miss taking long warm baths at bathtubs. Bathtubs are a luxury in the Philippines. It's just the norm that taking a bath using a bathtub takes up more resources than a shower. A water heater is regarded as a luxury as well.
Hello Ate Mana! I am from the Philippines Pampanga City. Thank you for always supporting the Philippines! Ate Mana!😊🤗👋👍 Especially in Philippine culture.
I’m so glad you enjoy your study in the Philippines. Universities hold high standards of teaching which attracts students all over Asia and even from the Middle East countries. Your English is really good for a starter 👍. Philippines is really a fun country to study. Freedom of expression, individuality is universal. You can express your opinion without fear. I’m also impressed how fast you’re learning the English language 👍.
We don't have bath tub, we usually use "Tabo" and "Timba" 😂 Only hotels and riches have bath tub. And we also don't have toilet paper. We use water 😂 So very culture shocking 🤣
If you live in huge and exclusive subdivisions. You can achieve whatever you are looking for cause they can afford the modern and adoptable lifestyle. But due to normal circumstances as a 3rd World country. Filipino knows how to sets priorities and remains living in cultural practices. As foreigner. You should have to adopt and learn differences on norms, beliefs, foods, weather, culture, religion, barriers and practices. Everytime i go in some places. Local or overseas. I tried to enjoy the experience of being a foreigner to foreign land. Be thankful and appreciative for the opportunity.
You're so sweet both of you. It's our culture to be friendly wherever we are. It's rooted in our veins. Thank you to pick Philippines to study English. You're English is great. Love you both.
FILIPINO TEACHER ARE SO FRIENDLY ALWAYS EVEN WHEN THERE STRICT THEY WILL ALWAYS LAUGH WITH YOU EVERYTHING BUT WHEN I COME WITH SERIOUS TALK THERE VERY SERIOUS
Bathtub are more common in hotels or rich or sometimes just an optional thing in someones bathroom but usually we don’t really use it..coz most the people here take bath in the morning and no time to stay long so bathtub is useless but we also take bath in evening after work we call it half bath, we don’t wash our hair just our whole body but we still not stay long in the bathroom..
The best time to come here for a visit is in March. When summer has officially started. Many people go to beach resorts. Hot springs resorts in Laguna are also full packed with people.

I agree with you, it's culture shock. At least you experience other countries cultural differences, but you're both unique individuals and you enjoy your education in our country. Thanks and God bless 🙏🙏🙏

I totally agree with you guys, wifi is too slow in some places here, unless you have your own connection. About bus stops, that's one of the things that I admire about japan. People have more discipline.
All you say is true and I love it slow wifi is my problem too because we are in developing country unlike japan that is already an advance country but it's not a big deal philippines still the best country you feel connected to all people and it so happy here.

One of the reason why Filipino wants sweets on most of the foods because we produce so much sugar from sugar cane, so it readily available. We have incorporated the sugar on some of our dishes.
Hi manna..!!Can you make a video on how do the japanese making its environment so clean and tidy....thank you and God bless you always in your journey....123..😊😊

When the train wobbles, and it will, and you accidentally touched someone's lower area, there's a good chance that people will think you're a 置換.(Chikan - Molester) (セクハラ Seku Hara - Sexual Harrassment) * The amount of times I got asked "What is your job?" whenever I get invited to someone's home. * SO MUCH PAPER. * SO MUCH COINS. If you're a guy, bring a wallet with a coin purse. * SO MUCH WALKING. * The price of Pets. * HUGE vegetables and fruits. * The price of vegetables and fruits. * 貧乏ゆすり (Binbou Yusuri / lit. Poor Man's Shaking) - Involuntary leg shaking is frowned upon. * 1 spray of perfume= perfect. 2 sprays= too much. 3 sprays= people will avoid you. * If you have tattoos, big or small, prepare to be stared at. (and not in a nice way) * Convenience stores have Halo-Halo. They suck. * If you have runny nose, you better sniff it back up. DO NOT BLOW your nose in public. * DO NOT Point with your fingers. * The first heart attack every foreigner experiences here: 緊急地震速報 (Kinkyuu Jishin Sokuhou) Early Earthquake Warning System, EVERY phone will get it. The alarm sound doesn't help at all. On the contrary, it actually induces more panic. * 花粉症 (Kafunshou) Pollen Allergy. * Vending Machines in every corner. * Dental Clinics in every corner. There's a lot more, but have fun exploring them. Manner & Etiquette is just something you'll learn, in most cases, the hard way. "Why are people staring at me? Bruh its my first freaking time seeing a Japanese girl learning about Philippines cause you know i live in Philippine Also Philippines are a wonderful country to live in i promise 😊👍
Here in the Philippines if you want to have faster internet or Wi-Fi you need to have a PLDT home fiber broadband with landline. Some people here use Converge or Globe broadband.
for me as a normal Filipino citizen when we take a bath we use only bucket filled with water and mug or here in the Philippines we call it tabo and when we take a bath we usually use cold water . And it's true that the internet connection here is so slow to the point that were getting mad because we cannot upload videos or anything on time. I really like watching your videos... Keep on uploading videos... God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi two beautiful ladies I appreciate your content, yeah all of said about the culture in the Philippines is true and I like also the japanese culture because some of Japanese people have a discipline in any aspects so that's why I like japanese people
Not really slow, Mana! The fastest Wifi speed here is above 300 mbps. PLDT can provide that kind of speed but the price or the service fee per month is also high. Most computer shoppes here will go for between 30 and 100 mbps. The monthly fees are also lower. But most families with home internet will settle for a 30 mbps service. There are many Internet providers here. So, there are many Internet plans available. you get what you pay for.
Speaking of Wi-Fi. Manny Pacquiao's punches is 10x faster than our internet connection
Ahaahhaahahaha😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂
Haha lol

Yes, I know. Right? Hahaha. As a senior high school student, I've been applying to universities online but the wifi makes it forever to apply. And, when online classes, as well. I hope this gets to take an action.

Warm bath is not common in a tropical country like the philippines..
I solve the problem by boiling water.😀🤣🤣
I use tabo though
We just go to the beach anytime if we want to submerge in water. Its water-saver.
I have two bathtubs in my house one at the ground floor and one in the first floor.
