I bought the LHT stock clutch kit and a new AP1 flywheel for my 2006 AP2. Fast shipping, great service by LHT. The AP1 flywheel is a subtle improvement to a stock AP2. I wish I had a lift but the job wasn't too bad with QuickJacks.
I have an OEM red shifter boot for my ‘01 that has never been used if you’re interested. Just been sitting in my garage for 20 years. Probably a little more maroon than what you’re looking for though.
Hi John. That S2000 really is getting better and better everytime you touch it.👌 Beautiful car and I look forward to the next episode. The photos you and George put on the wall came out very nice. Maybe you should put a few of those levels for sell in the online store. Your wife isn't the only one who will argue about whether or not a picture is level.😉 Great video as always, John. Have a good evening, buddy.
I'm sold on the FX300 and the even lighter than AP1 Clutch Masters Flywheel but didn't see it in the store? Which model number is it and is it still available through you guys? Thanks!
@@LHTPerformance My throwout bearing is shot on my 2002 and since the clutch is original with 175K miles thought I'd change out everything ... guess I'll keep the AP1 flywheel then and save some $$. Thanks for the advice. Had the car since new and you guys have been a great help over the years! Too bad I'm way out here in Phoenix ... lol
I have an ap1 and it has a major clutch buzz that I cant stand since it is my daily. What would y'all recommend to get rid of it for all? I don't want clutch buzz anymore
I have installed you ACT combo oem ap2 clutch with a act flywheel. The engagement is only smooth with more revs then a oem setup. It shakes or bites on or off with very little rpm at take off. Did I do something wrong?
@@LHTPerformance ok I actually just bought one other day from you guys but I thought you said I need to get a stainless line to make work. Can you give me a idea on how to make it fit Exaclty
@@steven212008 If you’re using the AP2 line, you can either trim the small locating tab down or orientate the line a different direction. That’s what we did on ours.
We sell an new OEM Clutch in the store. I would never sell a used clutch and expect anyone that cares to install it. I know we wouldn’t install a used clutch.
@@LHTPerformance thanks for replying, just figured i asked, gotta get me the fx300, i had a raceday and now my gear don't engage as smooth as before, i regrese the shifter often, pressure plate is wornout perhaps..
The pressure plate doesn’t often show wear, the disk wears. Don’t waste your time installing a used clutch unless you do the work yourself and good at changing clutchs.
Great video on the new clutch. Thank you for sharing!
It’s really coming together! Such a beautiful S! Can’t wait to see the next changes!

Thanks buddy. It is my favorite flywheel.
Keep up the awesome videos guys I love watching your videos it’s so relaxing 🙌🏼
Love the constant content!!
We mostly use ACT + OEM Flywheel combo. Thousands of installs over the years with out issue!
This is beautiful, I'm about to do my ap1 same way. Love your kit, thanks for the s2000LHT goodies💪

That is a really nice offer. I’d love to take it. Thanks.
Your Red S2000 is beautiful !
the turbo package will make it a beast
I would love to see some
turbo s2000 V MOUNT content😉

I do the same with my frames. Gotta have them level!
Shift boot stitching...I think that red stitch would be nice on it.
Nice 👍🏽
👍👍👍👍👍
Question, did you guys have for sale a clutch release bearing for rsx type s?the one on this video?thanks
Compare fx300 vs fx350? What is the big difference? Is fx350 heavier in in between?
Also, did you tested Toda clutch kits?
Which vendor do you use to refinish steering wheels?
Dallas custom wheels does ours
when is the restock on the clutch masters kit?
Did you clear this with corporate?! Lisa the librarian will have things to say about this.
I'm sold on the FX300 and the even lighter than AP1 Clutch Masters Flywheel but didn't see it in the store? Which model number is it and is it still available through you guys? Thanks!
We’ve found the lighter flywheels actually amplify the clutch sound and make them annoying. The AP1 is the best compromise in my opinion.

Yes. Re surface your AP1 flywheel to factory specs. We sell the FX300 in the store and include the OEM Nachi bearing and pilot bearing.

Did you break it in correctly ? We recommend a very gentle break in ( hence why do some break in with the wheels off the ground first ).
What up with the online store I'm trying to buy a rebuild shifter for s2k ?......
love the finish on those wheels! also, are you ever going to show us how you did the undercar lighting on the blue s2000?🥺
I deleted the video as I got tired of the haters.
@@LHTPerformance ah man... that sucks, was looking forward to it. haters gonna hate no matter what you do ...
@@devonmartinbasson Haters draw out the energy. We don’t make enough on TH-cam to make it worth while.
@@LHTPerformance fair enough...true, not worth the energy.
I have an extra foam piece for the shifter if you want it. Let me know
Thanks so much Matt ! It’s greatly appreciated and will be put to good use.
i resurfaced my ap1 flywheel at about 150,000. what are your opinions on that?
If the flywheel does show signs of cracking and balances out ok, go for it !
Can you use the honda grease on other parts of the car??
Yes.
What’s the steering wheel company’s name????
Dallas Custom Wheels
Put Alleggerita HLT wheels on it 😎
The V3s are my favorite wheels. I don’t want to go through the BS aftermarket wheel fitment with stretching fenders and spacers etc
I would like to buy this clutch and flywheel setup with the flywheel rebalanced and machined. Do
You sell this option
We have some flywheels coming from the balancer this week. I’ll try and get them in the store soon.
@@LHTPerformance ok did you install a ap1 slave and braided line. If yes we’re can I get a ap1 clutch line to fit my ap2 if no why not?
