2006 Honda S2000 AP2 Makeover - New OEM Upgrades | Brake Refresh | BC Racing Coilover (Episode 1)

- In this episode of this series, our team will be giving a makeover on this 2006 Honda S2000 with under 55K miles. Starts off with brake calipers refresh, then new StopTech slotted brake rotors and new Oem brake pads all around. Follow with a minor height enhancement with BC Racing Coilover. Installing a set of brand new Honda S2000 CR wheels and center caps along with a set of Falken tires. Finishing off with a 4 wheel alignment, adjusting the cambers, casters and toes.

Damn. When I saw that you guys went with the CR wheels….my jaw dropped. Those are my all time favorite wheels for the s2k. If I am fortunate enough to afford an s2k one day, this would be the exact mods I would do, from the rotors, coilovers and wheels. No bolt ons needed. Silver is my color, too. I'm happy to finally see some v3 wheels on a regular S2K. The only thing that made me cringe was the lack of a torque wrench on the suspension. You don't use an impact to tighten suspension fasteners.

Hi just wondering how much do you think will I spend to do all the things you did on the 2006 Honda S2000, by replacing the coil over suspensions, brakes etc. I own a 2005 Honda S2000 also, but I haven’t done anything except for replacing my original soft convertible roof and that’s it. Hoping to get a reply thank you very much, I am a fan of what you guys do….
The coilover MSRP at $1250.00 and brake pads along with brake rotors are about a few hundred dollars.

Making me feel lazy about the calipers on my 2006 Laguna Blue S2000. Still thinking about a drop, I have low miles still and the factory stuff is far from worn out.
Stock 08/09 wheels are pretty hard to find, let alone CRs. That must have been a lot of late nights on the computer.
I went +10mm on the tires recently like this. It took some getting used to the looks, but it's kind of necessary considering you have relatively little choice in stock sizes, especially on the 215s.

Hi! Who could answer? Why in winter fuel mix is ok, in summer is lean, it goes detonating at slow acceleration, k24a engine.

I don’t think he can say, someone with big leverage must have hooked them up. Those wheels are extremely hard to get used imagine new in package. Don’t even want to ask how much he paid.

Ap2 wheels look way better than the cr wheels.
Nice upgrades but you just depreciated the shit out of that low mileage s2k.
Car can be reverse back to stock. Also, not all owners look at these cars only for appreciation. They wanted to have fun and enjoy them.
Thumbs down for the CR wheels and bad tyre choice. Not to mention putting the black S2000 logo's on and the tacky cheap looking thing stuck on the boot lid....
