One of the best country songs I have heard. I sing it often in my mind. I met Danny Hooper at the Armstrong Fair (IPE) and got a signed copy of this cd. But my ex wife got it in our divorce. Thank you Danny for this great song.
Great song and great guy. Meet Danny at Camrose years ago and agin in the V.I.P. tent. Just wish he would put out more c.d.s as I have his 2 c.d.s and listen to them often.
Grew up on a farm. Best part was driving John Deere tractors! Farm is gone now, but my heart longs to return to it some day. Hope to start a farm as a hobby, and go back to drivin John Deeres!
my grand dad sold his farm last year I remember working his land all those years ago. I still remember him giving me his prize tractor that he bought new I still remember him giving me the keys to his 1966 case 430 gasser still have it will miss those days
Great guy! Had the pleasure of meetin him in person. Received wonderful advice from him in the minute he stopped over to acknowledge me, as I was the first person who proudly announced my role in the auction industry as a benefit auctioneer. Wonderful gentleman.
Shame to admit it,but I never heard of Danny until this week, when I learned that we’re gonna be doing a show with him featuring this very well written song. I like the changes and augmented chords. Nicely done. Hope I can keep up!
Hey Adam, I really appreciate hearing from you! We're on vacation in Bali right now...not too many John Deere tractors over here. Thanks for listening to my music.
What I wouldn't give for those John Deere Tractor Keys! Sure wish we were still farmin. Something about a tractor in the field that just stirs the mind, much like a steam locomotive.
I was 6 years old when I started reaching the clutch, haven't stopped driving or let go of the keys yet, going to be 15 and im the only kid around that can drive without GPS, I can even combine with a 8 row corn head with hilly ground,
i'd never let them keys go I love tractors my dad had a 1948 Farmall I used to sit in his lap and he'd let me steer and honk the horn while he controlled the gas and break
I’ve always loved this song….
I would never walk away from those keys! It’s in my blood!
Crying everytime i listen to this song!
