One of my ballasts went bad. Do I have to do this to get them out? I can't find any directions on how to get the ballast out of a Chrysler 300.
Yes, you need to remove the headlights to change the ballast.
If I want to change the light bulbs, do I need to go through that ?
Be forewarned, you may break some of those plastic clips and fastners. Be prepared to purchase new ones to replace those that get broken. It may not seem like you need them in the wheelwell for the splashguards, but as you drive they will flap around in the wind.

You DO NOT have to remove the bumper to install new hdlites.
Or.. You can just remove the air filter and reach in and remove it.
