    I filled for my brother in February 2013. My petition was approved in 2020. I am still waiting for the visa to be available. In the midtime do i have anything to do?

    My petition was approved in 2003. My notice from NVC re documents submission came only in 2021. Now I am still waiting for my final interview. I am not excited because I have been to the US 8 times. It no longer excites me.

    After getting my visa for the F4 category, do I have to move in with my sister (legal sponsor) or can I choose to move somewhere else upon entry? like to a different state?
    If so, does changing the address before moving raises any questions upon entering the country?

    Thank you so much for detailed explanation. I applied I-130 under siblings category in 2012 , after 8 years in 2020 our case forwarded to NVC. It's very long time to wait and it's really frustrating . I told my brother that in meantime he can apply for a tourist visa to USA , this way he can visit me and my family.

      17 years 😂we are waited with my brother. I applied May 8, 2007. 2001 on December case was completed with NVC,on December 10,2023 we got email that they send papers to embassy for interview. On February 8,2024 we got email with date with interview. Brother kids are 17 and 20 they are reject to go for embassy for interview. He is 57 his wife 58 and they didn't know what to do now...It's crazy! waiting time. Illegal immigrants went from Mexico border and we are paid taxes needs to wait for reunion with relatives 17 years!!!, but illegal immigrants comes every day without any problem and we need to support them! its ridiculous!

    The wait times are just way too long. US Immigration should be like... You paid 500 for F4 Sibling Application and that has been approved. Would you like to apply for Non-Resident Permit for the year for $1200, or would you prefer to Fast Track your F4 application for $12,000?

    Excellent discussion! One info I could not find anywhere is Categ 4 sponsor income limitation. After 15 to 20 years of wait, these brothers/sisters start their own families and become large families. If a US Citizen applies for 5 brothers/sisters, and these brothers/sisters have 5 children of each under 21 years of age, the total tied families after 15 to 20 years become 25 people. What option does this US citizen have if he is a sole sponsor under 100k a year income a year? Does income limitation applies only to Brothers/Sisters or the entire tribe is accounted for in Sponsor's income limitation? In a worst case, can a Sponsor (US Citz) brings just his Brothers/Sisters, and then, these brothers/sisters work and file for their families later on? What option does this US Citz has? With long cases, these challenges are most certain, but I could not see any info on this. Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

      Do you know that after waiting time 17-20 years who will be come? If my nephews is,28 and 34 they didn't get visa,my brother 57 and his wife 58 they are not ready to immigrate! You need to think about illegal immigrants who comes every day from Mexico and we are support them! Millions have it welfare and medicate .but Americans who paid taxes can't have it what illegal immigrants have. If legal immigrants come they are supported by the same family, and not any one ask pay less taxes bcs you are support your family and they are must to pay it taxes for illegal immigrants too!

      There are per country limits as to how many people can come each year. Those countries hit the ceiling, so they have longer lines and have to be separately indicated.

    Hi There . My Wife's sister ( my SIL) is a US Citizen. Hence it makes sense to apply for I-130. But how do I tag myself ( husband) and my son on the application ? Is it a seperate one?

    • @_p45
      @_p45 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s the same application if you were married to your spouse at the time the I-130 petition was filed ..if you got married after the I-130 was filed then your wife will have to tell the nvc that she is now married and automatically you will be allocated a visa if all goes well at immigrant interview that you and wife will attend when your wife priority date becomes current ..

    They are already wasting 5000 green cards for f4 this fiscal year and the number of visa interviews are dropping 10 percent per month. They are sacrificing this category again this year.

    One of the worst categories in the immigration period!
    Brother and sister does not live together after getting married
    This category is only for immigration benefit
    My sister is also in USA but we won't apply because who wants to live with your brother sister after they got married
