Hi your work is a glass i must say how you Explaning is excellent and your information spot on. if i can ask you for some advice on my bmw e46 reg 2003 i was useing the AK90+ key programer to program a nather off the market key and done something wrong i thing i went over my Original key as it was the number 3 key i had when did buy the car as you know its 1 to 10 bmw always have one loged maybe the first owners lost the number 2 key as i only got one bmw Original key at the time with the car so i had the car with the tick number 3 on in the program menu of the key program setting when programing the new key now i can not start the car its like the key can not see the car it still open and lock the doors but startting the car not so i was going back you know when you save the bin file one by one its to much to rember in what order even with the date and times i was wondering if you know if my ews can be set back to its Original state or setting how it was i beleave you are the man who know

hello my BMW 320d 2010 FRM module is not working I need to fix it, is it the same way to fix the issues ? my car's roof lights, speedo meter lights are not working, head lights are on but not all of them only the white lights all I can see is 5 metres far that's all and windows of front doors are not working please give me a quick reply I need to fix this as I am facing a lot of problem these days.
9:40 Can you really just leave the eeprom empty and program it with ISTA/P? I have been mocking around with dumps and then having to disconnect the FRM to make ISTA/P detect the correct integration level etc.
I tried to leave the eeprom empty last week with two different FRM's. If the eeprom is empty, it does start and you can code it using NCS Expert, but since the UIF is empty it can't be flashed by ISTA/P or WinKFP. I don't think there is any way to write the correct UIF so if you leave the eeprom empty you might have a working FRM but you are unable to use ISTA/P on your car anymore. My advice: find the correct eeprom dump.
Since leaving the eeprom empty doesn't work, I deciced to look into the procedure of converting the d-flash contents to eeprom contents. I think I managed to create a conversion program, but have not tested it yet. Basically you read the flash as if the entire memory is allocated to d-flash and use my tool to convert it to an eeprom image. You can find it here: tlvps.tomvanleeuwen.nl/frm/

Yes, you can. Why would we lie? This is the fastest way if you do not have original EEPROM content.
