I appreciate you going through all the presets. I like to play jazz rhythm guitar, and preset #9 hits the jackpot for me. Plus, I appreciate you playing them all the most versatile guitar made, the Fender Telecaster. It's not just meant for country chicken-pickin. Much mahalo!
I was messing around with this at the music store I plugged in a $350 Guitar and it sounded amazing! I felt like a Rockstar lol. This amp is awesome. I didn't have stuff like this when I tried to learn 15 years ago. Cool stuff
dude, you are seriously awesome. i had my little line 6 amp die after 12 years of service - i felt lost when shopping around. this seems great for a casual like myself. thanks for putting forth the effort to play each preset in style.
Superb demo with masterful playing. Agree with past comment that the playing technique applied to each individual patch could not have been better to showcase each patch. Nicely done!!
Thanks dude!!! Watched on my roku…but had to go to my phone to comment. Best amp demo! Thank you for not talking and instead demo-ing the amp tones. Not joking…I can barely stand 2 mins of most “reviews” do to EXCESS opinions. Usually 80% talking and poorly demonstrated tones. Anderton’s is perfect example of the talk-talk-talk demonstration.
Just ordered one today for my birthday. Lots of great reviews. One you Tuber opened one up, and was impressed that Fender went the extra mile on the little things. They hit this one out of the park.
Great. The App for all of the presets was easy to set up, and very user friendly. I'm a noodler and I like to come up with ideas for new tunes, and different settings let me experiment. Plenty loud, too. Highly recommended.
Dude save a few extra bucks or even get the GC credit if you have to, as long as you can pay it off in 6 months before the interest kicks in, and get a performer strat or even go up , i have a player, and while it's very good for its price the frets are kinda rough and the pickups could be better, you'll only be saving your self money in the long run, if you really are going to stick with playing make the investment in something good that you'll keep for years. I just bought a 60's Gibson Les Paul standard, I really wrestled with the idea of spending that much on a guitar, but look, with insurance and tax it came to $3,000 , sounds like a lot, but if I have it for ten years that's only 300 bucks a year and I'm sure if i live long enough I'll have it even longer, ( I'm 55 ) so it will be cheaper per year, and then it's something I can leave to my son, it's the same with a high dollar strat or telecaster, if it's something you're going to keep for years the amount of money is well spent, it's the same with amps, get what you want and that you'll be happy with, and just divide the price over time. When i first bought the les Paul i was like oh what did i just do... but then it occurred to me hey people spend more on cars and other stuff that they will not keep more then a few years, and if you're young well then so much more the bargain. I've owned plenty of cheaper guitars over the years, having one that you know is a keeper and put together with the best stuff and craftsmanship sure feels better walking out of the music store with then feeling like you've settled for less.
Don;t spend $3000 on a gibson like the other guy said. Instead save $1000 and get yourself an American made Strat. You'll be happier with it in the long run.
@@JS-it3dx lol it's funny how this pops up a couple years later. I got it and both the guitar and the amp are still running amazing. I'm just an amateur, so it's been amazing

This is an amazing little amp with a big sound. Incredibly versatile with crisp clear clean tones. You would have no problem gigging this amp. It's as loud, if not louder, than my MKII Katana. I think it sounds better too, but that's all subjective. This amp is easy to use, can be used with a footswitch, and is capable of saving up to 100 presets. That's all pretty good for 178.00 bucks at Zzounds brand new. Can't beat it!
Embarassing question - if I'm just strumming a couple of strings, will many of the presets sound the same? I'm a beginner and I have this amp but they all sound similar. I just hear a vague gravely noise in the background that doesn't even sound different with different strings.
Hi Astringsuk, what about this amp? can the mixer be plugged in so i can bring it into the pc for streaming or recording? is it easy to use? Are the presets good? Great Video !!! Good Job !!!
Hello I just bought an electric guitar and want to learn to play, in your opinion what should I do to learn guitar? I have looked and there are apps, but don't know if that is a good option. I play other instruments, so I understand music, but the instruments I play (trumpet, clarinet) don't have more than single notes at a time, so playing chords and reading music like a guitar or piano will be a skill I need to learn and I just wanted your advice. also I was going to but the Fender Mustang LT50, but decided on the Mustang GTX100 and what do you think about that amp? Great video, and very nice playing.
There's a tempo tapper built into the amp and I don't think it takes pedals. There's footswitches you can buy specifically by Fender that you can use to change between your presets.
I got a big question, is any way u can update your amp? And it’s so, how can you update it ! Bc I wanna plug my amp to the pc but it won’t read it (firmware)
@Jason Halliday One of the problems I had with the Katana was the noise floor. With single coils the amp was very noisy. I've read various posts that the Mustang is a better amp with single coils.
@@tattooedsailor8666 Same here! Wonder if you use the volume knob to clean up things like an old school tube amp. That's the only draw back for digital amps for me. U can't do it at all. Drop the volume knob down and it will just reach a certain point and go off. It won't clean up like a tube amp
Hi, thanks very much, really enjoyed that. Do you know of anywhere or anyone who can give or sell any new tones for someone like myself who has never used an amp before. At 66 Im leaving it late to start. lol
@fat is the 50W version loud enough for a band rehearsal? The shopkeeper from the shop in which I bought this amp said that he is a teacher in a music school and 50W is more than enough for playing in a band. He mentioned they usually play on 50 Watt Boss Katana amps, and using only the 25W switch is fine for them to play together including drummer, and they don't even utilize the 25W completely. So, he persuaded me that I don't need a higher amp then this 50W if my intention is to play with a band and performing alive. Finally I bought this LT50, and I love it, but I have not tried it out with a band so far. Was he right or it was just marketing?

Whilst this is an excellent demo with some fine playing I notice a growing trend on youtube to shake the neck of the guitar on the final chord. Why ? It has absolutely no effect on the sustain or any other part of the sound. Perhaps the player convinces himself it does but objectively, it does not. Great playing nonetheless both with pick and fingers.
