Start to finish an excellent way of demonstrating this Amp. I bought this Two months ago and its been switched on once. After this I'm going to explore what comes with its features. Good sense of guitar demo with each change. Thank you to the guy who made it.
Great review. I have owned an LT25 and it's not the best sounding amp but it is definitely a lot of fun. For around $150 this thing can give you almost any sound. No need for a big pedal board anymore. For home practice or a little low volume jamming you can"t do much better.

Well for the video intro I mic'd the amp (mic into the Zoom) and that's mixed in a little with what the video camera mic picked up. For the demo of all the preset sounds that was the amp direct into the Zoom. I gather with some experimenting it might be good to record with. How do you record with the Marshall? Do you mic it or line out of it?
@@stevekonbass so far just direct line out. Sometimes I don’t like some of the presets because it sounds like it’s trying to feedback at very low volume. So, I think I will eventually try to mic it but never tried it with a SM58. I know that a 57 is what most people use or something similar- not a vocal mic.
I find myself mainly using my Line 6 pocket pod and presets on the Zoom for recordings. A 57 is the way to go for mic'ing the amp but if you noticed in the video I used a 58, lol. There's lots of last minute "use what ya got" improv when I produce these videos. The video camera was picking up way too much noise from the air blowing through the vents in the room.

A very good and detailed demo indeed! ♥The way it should be... Nice amp and seems pretty simple to use.. however, I wouldn't use any more than Clean, Phaser, Acoustic Sim, Jazz, Rock-a-billy... All overdriven / distorted / fuzz sounds are quite similar and can be managed with the Gain and Tone control of any good overdrive pedal. The amp types kinda sound the same to me too.. just differently overdriven / distorted. I'd rather choose my sounds with 2 or 3 pedals that I have.

Hey Dennis- I hope you enjoy it brother. I think you will. A lot of the presets sound great. A few of them I found there might be too much effect so I go in and lower the reverb or delay. But for the most part, it's just plug in and play and enjoy yourself. The presets I like the most are 01 (Fender Clean) for blues, 11 (metal lead), and 22 (Super Rock).

I just gave the song a listen. There are a few guitars on the track. Sounds like they are pretty compressed and dry. Try #14 Thrash Overkill and tweak it from there.
I like the way you didn’t infringe on copyright, but I could tell what songs your modified riffs came from. I have one of these arriving tomorrow so that at 1am I can rock up the cute, sleepy English village in which I live… Not really. If I wanted to, my Marshall JCM800 4212 2 x 12 combo and my powerful 800W stage amp and 400W 18” speakers would more than fit the bill. I just want to recreate all my old songs and find the optimum effects, then feed them into my DAW and add thr drums and bass. I will provide the rhythm and lead guitar and lead and backing vocals, the latter of which which my old 80’s-90’s metal band, The Uninvited never had the luxury of I think for some of the solos I shall use a harmoniser plug in to create a harmony solo, which I can tweak as much as I like on my DAW. I’m looking forward to it.

All presets fine, but I want to use the AMP with my BOSS DS1 pedal. After I plugged in correctrly (just like with my old solid state amp) the Boss DS1 did nothing just bypassed the sound and the amp used it's selected preset. Should I enable any parameter/option to be able to use the amp with my BOSS DS1?! Thank you!

@@stevekonbass Thank you! I solved this problem: the user should switch to an EMPTY preset, and than set the gain, treb, bass with the knobs correctly, and also set the guitars volume higher than 7.
My first thought is it could be the guitar. Does the buzz go away when you touch the strings? How about if you move further away from the amp, does the hum go away?
@@stevekonbass no the buzz stays the same when i touch the strings. the buzz kinda goes away depending how i rotate the guitar. and also when i switch to the bridge pickup there is no buzz.
I'd say it's your guitar and guess you have single coil pickups. I've experienced that at certain clubs I've gigged at. I'd have to stand a certain way or rotate a certain way for the hum to diminish.

I have this amp. How do I download preset for songs from Deftones, Killswitch Engage? I have been using the USB and Mac Book on the Fender app. We have a lot of empty presets to add. Just want to know if it's possible to add those presets for specific songs.

No. Of course, there are some presets that are hotter than others, but you can control it and tweak it to your liking. My guitars also have humbuckers so I haven't tried it with single coils which can be noisy.
Hey man I'm 23 and getting my first guitar. Just wanted to ask if this amplifier will be enough for me to play all of the Mark Knopfler tunes or I'll have to get pedals and other technical stuff too? The guitar im getting is the Ibanez Gio GRG121DX
If you're just starting out I'd suggest just getting the amp and keeping it simple. Ya have a lot of life ahead of you and plenty of time to buy the toys. First see if you dig it and if you want to dive in deep. There's lots to learn. Could be a fun time for ya.
If you have a Guitar Center near you or another music store, go and test them out. If you just buy online, you may not get what you want. This Fender Mustang amp has 30 presets and you can tweak them as much as you want. There are other amps that have built-in effects too at different price points.
I haven't messed with the USB so I couldn't tell you about that, but the amp does have effects built in that you can adjust... chorus, delay, phaser, etc. There's also an ap called Fender Tone where you can do all sorts of tweaking. Here's the link: www.fender.com/tone
@@stevekonbass I bought this amp yesterday and yes, it's stereo via USB Connection, but there is no stereo effects built in, which is a little disappointing. No stereo delay, no stereo chorus, no stereo reverb, etc. The headphone out is mono.
@@stevekonbass It's not this, it's just Fender's choice. Many amps has stereo effects you can hear through usb recording, for example Boss Katanas has that. It's not mandatory to have two speakers for stereo functionality via USB. Anyways...
Closest of the 30 built in tones to sound like Hendrix would be 60s Fuzz in my opinion. You can also hook the amp up to the Fender ap and do all sorts of stuff. If it's a Marshall tone you're after though, go with a Marshall.

I have this, it does NOT sound nearly as punchy/gainy as shown in the video, neither with presets or with user modifications. I repeat: does NOT sound as powerful as in the video, but WAAAAAAAAAAY LESS

just got it used for $85 bucks. Cant go wrong with this amp. Lot's of classic sounds.

I have a 5 position switch on the Ibanez I was using. It was either the neck humbucker, or the neck humbucker in parallel.

How to get stereo effect on output speaker??
my mustang lt25 makes a static sound like humming or buzzing, especially when gain is up. what is the fix for this?

@@stevekonbass I bought this amp yesterday and yes, it's stereo via USB Connection, but there is no stereo effects built in, which is a little disappointing. No stereo delay, no stereo chorus, no stereo reverb, etc. The headphone out is mono.
Consider that it only has 1 speaker, so you wouldn't get that true stereo effect that you would hear in something like a Blackstar ID Core 100.
@@stevekonbass It's not this, it's just Fender's choice. Many amps has stereo effects you can hear through usb recording, for example Boss Katanas has that. It's not mandatory to have two speakers for stereo functionality via USB. Anyways...
Are you able to use this amp as interface using usb to connect to computer ?

can it make a good vintage marshall tone? some red hot and jimi hendrix stuff
Closest of the 30 built in tones to sound like Hendrix would be 60s Fuzz in my opinion. You can also hook the amp up to the Fender ap and do all sorts of stuff. If it's a Marshall tone you're after though, go with a Marshall.

No. Effects are built in. A footswitch could be useful though to switch effects.

You can. Basically, you can tweak your effects and then make your own preset. There's also something you can download from the Fender website.

I have this, it does NOT sound nearly as punchy/gainy as shown in the video, neither with presets or with user modifications. I repeat: does NOT sound as powerful as in the video, but WAAAAAAAAAAY LESS
Pickups and pickup settings can affect it
