I want to start this off by saying 'Andrew' from American Trucks was my AT representative throughout this entire process and I couldn't have asked for a better customer service representative! He was absolutely incredible in helping me with any way that he could. I wish we had more awesome customer service representatives in this world like him! I purchased these headlights for my 2017 XLT 5.0L because I thought they would look great in my truck... and they did. They completely change the look of the truck, making it look very aggressive. Both the low beams and high beams were extremely bright... when they wanted to work. I installed the first set a week before hunting season and they were awesome for the first week. On our way down to our spot, the passenger side low beams went out completely and would only come back on when you flipped the high beams on. After a while only running high beams (when applicable) the entire headlight would go out all together. Not long after that, the driver side headlight would go out as well becoming extremely dangerous not being able to drive with headlights, only fog lights would work. I ended up swapping them out for another pair hoping only that set was defective. I had the second set for about 3 weeks before they started to have issues of their own. I was sitting at a red-light when I noticed my passenger side headlight was out and the driver side was on (lights on auto) in the daytime. I ended up pulling over to check them out. They would both be on when I was in park but then as soon as I put the truck in gear, the passenger side low beams would go out. For $1200+ headlights, I wasn't going to take the chance on missing the return window with having so many issues in a very little time period. I reached out to AplhaRex multiple times about these issues and never heard anything back from the. As far as installation goes, they were very easy to install. I'm basically a pro at it by now. AT has a very helpful video on TH-cam to walk you through changing headlights if you have never done it before. I really wanted these headlights to work out for me, but sadly, they didn't. If you purchase these, look out for the issues I mentioned. I hope you guys have better luck than I did.
Thank you so much for the review and the compliments on our video! I'm really sorry to hear about the headlights, but I'm happy our Customer Service team was able to get you taken care of. Please reach out if there's anything else we can do for ya! -Zach
Hello Just received same nova yesterday. Love to look and style But I have a question On your video hooking up drl wires you have blk and red to battery plus both lights On mine my drl wires have yellow you don’t use a gray wire hook up to fuse box Why you didn’t have that for brighter running lights Now when I go to hook gray wire to fuse witch fuse should I use Please get back with me on those questions Payed to much money I want to hook them up correctly
Thanks for responding back Yes I have them looking awesome and working great I’m going to add them too American trucks where is my page is showing my truck soon Thanks again
@@anthonyvallejo2657 Bro I’m sorry yes it’s a fuse 10 Thought you were talking about fuse location. Plus it depends on yr of your truck from what I read
This is obsolutely bright but if you guys live from a colder weather like in Canada this headlight is not good for you, ive got this one installed on the fall and its all doing good but when the temperature started to drop to -14C the lense started to fogging up cover up my highbeam.
That’s because Alpharex Nova headlights for the 2018-2020 f-150 only have the 2 bulbs on top and the 2 bulbs on the bottom. If you wanted the ones with the 3 bulbs at the top you would have to do a 2015-2017 front end conversion
Did I miss something? How about turning the shop lights off and showing the beam pattern against the wall ~25ft away ? Could have compared it to the stock halogens?

Man those are awesome. Expensive like you said but sweet looking
Hello
Just received same nova yesterday. Love to look and style
But I have a question
On your video hooking up drl wires you have blk and red to battery plus both lights
On mine my drl wires have yellow you don’t use a gray wire hook up to fuse box
Why you didn’t have that for brighter running lights
Now when I go to hook gray wire to fuse witch fuse should I use
Please get back with me on those questions
Payed to much money I want to hook them up correctly
Were you able to figure out which fuse? I’ve had mine on but haven’t connected the harness for DRLs, cause I don’t know which fuse it is.
Thanks for responding back
Yes I have them looking awesome and working great
I’m going to add them too American trucks where is my page is showing my truck soon
Thanks again
If your truck is a f150 2016
I use 97 fuse no problem @ all
Everything works damn good so far
@@darrylbonner7896 yeah I have a 3.5 eco boost. The fuse was a 10?

he’s back!
Why My remote start wont work after i replaced it with this alpha rex? Any ideas?
If one led burns out, you are screwed right?
Price not being a factor, would you recommend these or the Morimotos xb or the xb hybrids?
Morimotos
These perform better than the Morimoto’s
Alpharex for sure. There's a comparison video out there that shows how much more coverage/brightness alpharex has over Morimoto
What fuse did you plug harness into? Having trouble w my DRLs
Eactly
Fuse 97
Why take the grill off?
What is the extra plug that don’t get used for?
Sooo.... These require a "Converter" to work. ?
On standard 2015 - 2017 F150's Lights. Annnnd what is this converter.. where to buy it. 🤔
Do you have a 2020 similar product?
So i purchased these and did the install but the sequential blinkers don’t seem to work. Could this be because i have switchback LED blinkers?
Hey, Blake! I would give our customer service team a call to see what they can do to help here! 1-888-706-1096 -Zach
Seems like American trucks don't do no more videos on 11th gen Ford
Do u have something like that for a f150 2012 Eco boost V6 fx4
I purchased a 4 projector pair of same brand from Amazon for about $500. Same minus one projector. They were halogen but switched to LEDs
Thanks for mentioning that! $1200 for headlights is ridiculous. Some people mentioned about not getting a fuse tap?
Can you actually see better with these at night or is it more for looks.
@@jasonpark5906 yes the lighting for these are really great that’s why they’re worth 1200

Are those available for the 2019 f150? Because I can’t find the exact ones with the three bulbs at the top

Can you have the amber color as a DRL?
I have heard of guys being able to do it through Forscan
@@brandonbeals6323, I belive you're right!, other wise it would have to be wired differently
😍😍😍
Why in the world would you remove the grill… Unnecessary
So how do you get around the lower trim mounting bracket?
