I felt like this arrangement really shown how your style evolve through out the years, I've followed your work for almost 5 years and I still manage to get goosebumps every time. Awesome work as always man, I can't imagine how many hours were put into each piece to make such a fine masterpiece. Awesome arrangement, great chord voicing and transition, powerful climax, emotional performance. Simply amazing :D
My recent style focus on the "storytelling" part of each arrangement and I am being less technical than 3 years ago. I appreciate more and more the "simplicity" in music itself and I also started to include additional (short) breaks in my arrangement create more suspension in the music. (4:05 - 4:08) But I still have much to learn, haha
Advice: Don't listen to Animenz covers while studying for tests, since they're simply just so beautiful, expressive and technically brutal that they're extremely distracting. Also, they can make you have an emotional breakdown.

i love how with this piece (and all your others) you haven't been afraid to restructure it to your liking. Your ability to phrase masterfully with high and low energy sections (tension/releases), just as much as the technicality of your pieces, has been the biggest inspiration to me and my arranging style over the past few years. I love how every Animenz arrangement feels like a standalone piece in itself, not just a cover of the notes. Happy Valentine's Day! EDIT: serious Shigatsu wa kimi no Uso (Watashi no Uso) vibes 3:35-3:48, especially that lick in the middle. don't tell me that wasn't intentional P.S. I'm a little surprised that you haven't taken a liking to Gurenge. It seems to be a perfect fit for your arranging style - lots of opportunity and melodic space to try new ideas and shape it to your liking.

Truth be told, I've only followed this channel since your Studio Ghibli upload (1 year), so I can't say I'm the most veteran of fans. However, I, like many others, will support you unconditionally and eagerly look forward to new uploads, even when you admit that you "feel disappointed because an arrangement isn't challenging enough." Brave Shine is a masterpiece in my eyes, as is every one of your arrangements. Every upload, although few and far between, reflects immense quality that never ceases to impress every time, on every rewatch. I want to talk about my favorite part of this arrangement and why I think animez completly SLAYED this: It is at 2:43. This part of the song, you have completly entrapped me in your music. The way you captured the emotion during that scene is perfect. It truly made me feel Tanjiro's struggle and the need to keep moving forward no matter what. Music is about emotion, it is an art. The reason why this piece has caught so many people's hearts is because of the feelings it made them feel and I can say 100% that you have conveyed it flawlessly. Thank you for arranging such an amazing cover.

I've started listening to your covers since I was 17, and now I am 20, and still love how you can tell us the whole story of an anime through a song. I am not a pianist, but I play the guitar, and as a musician, I desire to fill all the space with the melody as you do but using my instrument. You are a great inspiration for me
How come whenever I hear one of your compositions, it has this perfect balance of being faithful to the original work, but also adding this amazing Animenz feel? This is by far my favorite Tanjiro no Uta cover.
Out of all your arrangements this is definitely at the top of the list, I just loved the smooth transitions, and something about this piece just makes me feel a certain way and I don't know how to describe it, the ending especially gave me the feels.
That hand pause at 05:42 and out is so fucking relatable. Where you spend the last 2 seconds contemplating the fact that you played your piece flawlessly (to your level, at least) and "ok what can I still fuck up - oh right nothing" when recording your pieces.
I was like ah the song is coming to an end then BAM builds up to monster arpeggios, jumps, full on orchestra-like techniques. That took me on a wild ride remembering scenes from the anime. Well done!

@@nickvaf Check out MaDwaZz's Synthesia on TH-cam. He is Animenz's official transcriber and doing the sheets while Animenz resolves his copyright issue. I'm sure he'll work on this eventually. From what I know, Animenz cannot provide sheets until he resolves this copyright problem, or his entire channel would be taken down. That's why he removed them. Or you can Google search "animenz sheethost (title of song)". You can still find them.
I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to this. It is my opinion the best arrangement Animenz has ever made. The first time I listened to this , I was stunned and overwhelmed by how beautiful the last chorus was. Truly a masterpiece.

Hearing this brought me back to a very special moment I had with my daughter when she was 2 years old. Someone jokingly asked her what she wanted to study her response was: "famous pianist and daddy #1 fan." 7 years later, she's been taking classes, loves them and is dreaming of her music academy's mini concert where she'll perform. I'm aware she doesn't recall that random 'baby moment'. Heck, now her dream is to be a vet so she can heal her pets for free (lol sound logic tho). I haven't missed a single class nor any of her practices at home. She's suuuuuper eager about the mini concert. The giant #1 'fan" foam hand is at the ready. Can't wait either! 🤗
I just started doing piano lessons 2 months ago, which was a lifelong dream since I was a kid. And playing my favorite anime OSTs would be my favorite pieces to play. And thank you. Thank you so much. You just gave me enough reason to continue learning.
So, to be honest, everytime I like some music it's because of some 3 seconds that gives me goosebumps or these 3 seconds are so out of place yet so beautiful. I don't have enough knowledge to point my finger at why I like these 3 seconds, but I just like them and the music turns out to be something worth these 3 seconds, because it builds to get there. everytime I don't like a music and you arrange it, I will always see that you put these 3 seconds there and it's always amazing. Your covers will be always my favorites.

@@nickvaf Check out MaDwaZz's Synthesia on TH-cam. He is Animenz's official transcriber and doing the sheets while Animenz resolves his copyright issue. I'm sure he'll work on this eventually. From what I know, Animenz cannot provide sheets until he resolves this copyright problem, or his entire channel would be taken down. That's why he removed them. Or you can Google search "animenz sheethost (title of song)". You can still find them.

I can’t count how many times I’ve listened to this. It is my opinion the best arrangement Animenz has ever made. The first time I listened to this , I was stunned and overwhelmed by how beautiful the last chorus was. Truly a masterpiece.

Hearing this brought me back to a very special moment I had with my daughter when she was 2 years old. Someone jokingly asked her what she wanted to study her response was: "famous pianist and daddy #1 fan."
7 years later, she's been taking classes, loves them and is dreaming of her music academy's mini concert where she'll perform.
I'm aware she doesn't recall that random 'baby moment'. Heck, now her dream is to be a vet so she can heal her pets for free (lol sound logic tho). I haven't missed a single class nor any of her practices at home. She's suuuuuper eager about the mini concert. The giant #1 'fan" foam hand is at the ready. Can't wait either! 🤗

I just love how big his hands are and how graceful it dances on the piano.
So, to be honest, everytime I like some music it's because of some 3 seconds that gives me goosebumps or these 3 seconds are so out of place yet so beautiful. I don't have enough knowledge to point my finger at why I like these 3 seconds, but I just like them and the music turns out to be something worth these 3 seconds, because it builds to get there.
everytime I don't like a music and you arrange it, I will always see that you put these 3 seconds there and it's always amazing.

@@karu-5398 yo im learning it too. All i gotta say is u hotta be motivated and u have to practice. Ive been playing it for about 2 and a half months and im at around 1:35. Im also only 12 and i dont have any talent tbh only hard work.
