- For this week's lesson we have got an idea that I may or may not have stolen from the solo section of Golden Earring's track 'Radar Love'. It's a tasty, swinging tom groove idea that makes great use of some basic rudiments.

Great drum lesson, drummers can learn a lot from this
I always loved Radar Love. I was a kid when it was released. I just listen again to Radar Love a few months ago and thought that it would be fun to play. But I need sheet music. I cannot learn intricate rhythms by listening. Fortunately, my dear friend Alex just provided the music notation. Alex, you do this all the time. I have learned at least twenty different grooves and fills from your site.

Hey man love your videos I’m a new drummer so sorry if you’ve done this already but could you do a tuning video specifically how to sound like your drums. You’ve got the best sounding set out of any drummer on TH-cam in my opinion
Thank you for the kind words mate. I have always been a bit hesitant to do a tuning video because in all honesty, I don’t really have a method. I just keep cranking it up or down until I like the sound. I might do though 😉

Lovely lesson as always bro😉. I want to challenge you, could you break down some less popular song in one of the episodes? I mean Ash Wednesday by Psychodelic Furs. I think drums in that one are genius but for someone not knowing much about rhythm it can sound like total mess. Appeciate if you consider showing your approach to it🙂
