I face the same problem as Shivam, made the same mistake as Shivam did, gone through the same surgery on my left leg. Now I am in 4th-week post-surgery. Randomly I saw the video and the doctor said it right. We have to consult the appropriate doctor for the right treatment.

As per the video you have mentioned from day 1of surgery, patient can bend his leg 90 degree. But recently I also underwent surgery of ACL and medial meniscus repair. But they advice me to start bending knee after 3 weeks.
I would like to know which is more beneficial. Plz let me know sir.

My both knee had bucket handel tear and meniscus tear. I had done my surgery in both leg 2 years ago. Do I faces any problem in coming future . write now I dont have pain but after doing heavy work like waking jogging I fell stiffness in my legs. Do in faces problem after 50 year. Thank you for making this video. Very helpful. The MRI report of my left knee shows the medial bucket handle tear that happened a month back while playing cricket. After a month of physiotherapy I can straighten my injured knee the same as other but I feel blocked/locked at the last stage of straightening the leg. I can walk well but with a little pain in the knee. I didn't try running. The physiotherapist says it's possible that I can get back to my regular run and lifestyle without surgery with strengthening exercises. Should I still go for surgery? Can you please advise.

i) Increased signal seen in the posterior hom and body of the lateral meniscus reaching upto its articular margins and represents grade III meniscal tear
ii) Increased signal seen in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus not reaching upto its ok articular margins and represents grade I meniscal tear.
iii) Moderate collection seen around knee joint with supraplica extension
iv) The anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments show normal contour and signal characteristics
v)The medial and the lateral collateral ligaments and the patellar tendon are normal
vi) The Hoffa's fat pad normal
vii) Visualized bones show normal signal characteristics
viii) The articular cartilage overlying the patella, tibia and femur appear normal

Sir I also had torn ACL with bucket handle meniscus tear in medial meniscus. I underwent the surgery and ACL was reconstructed using hamstring graft and meniscus tear was repaired fully. No meniscectomy was done. Is there a possibility that weight bearing can be started before 6 weeks?

Linear horizontal grade IIa signal in peripheral aspect of body, posterior horn of
medial meniscus and also lateral meniscus.
Ill defined marrow edema in posterior corner of lateral tibial condyle and
peripheral aspect of medial femoral condyle.

i)Acute high garde partial tear of ACL
ii)bucket handle tear of left lateral meniscus and oblique tear of medial meniscus
iii) grade ii sprain of collateral ligaments
iv)defuse marrow confusion in femoral and tibial condyles

Hai I had my acl tears 10 yrs ago and now 4 weeks before I injured my meniscal and its been a week I had my surgery and I had like 8 stitches on meniscal and its 2 implants they said like that and my surgeon recommend not to flex my knee above 30 degree for 2 weeks ... Very useful video. I faced the same issue and had to undergo acl reconstruction and partial meniscectomy. It's been two weeks from surgery and I am not able to bend my knee more than 40-50°. Is it normal? Muscles are still very weak.
