They all have seen different children, but one mentions a quite and funny girl and a crazy girl who talks a lot. Here is the point where you have to catch on to get the enemies location and fight them with martial arts. The other three characters shown in this video are now your best friends and help you saving the girls. This game has perfect storytelling and is a masterpiece 10/10. Would play again anytime.
How about you don't make cutscenes but make it the way HL2 did, HL2 only took control over from you because then you were either strapped to a place or a supernatural thing was going on. Do environmental storytelling, decorate the world so the player knows what is up, or just never take control from character. Or do it the way DOOM does, do not have storytelling either but have a lore that you can read whenever you want through codex, ingame, or you can leave it.
Fun Fact: Actually only 1% of Earth’s water is accessible and drinkable due to that other 2% being stored in ice caps and glaciers in the polar regions.
The thing that really sucks is when there is a cutscene where there isn't too much movement and your pc hangs and you stare at the computer for like minutes thinking why the cutscene isn't over.
Speed running that game with no deaths was tough. Especially when they talked about the history of why following traffic safety laws are important, right in the middle of a car chase scene, while in dialogue, with the player having to drive while the camera only focuses on the character talking.
