- Plastic bags have gotten a bad rap as of late, but do they really deserve it? I delve into the data and discover some unexpected results.

Some of the water borne litter shots were staged, but all litter was removed after filming. If you look closely, you can probably see the fishing line attached to a few of the items.
It's not about the carbon emissions. It's about micro-plastics.
Well, it's about every factor, so it is about carbon emissions, and it's also about micro plastics. I didn't consider microplastics whilst making this video, as they simply weren't on my radar at the time. Microplastics are an important factor, and if made this video again, including them may well have changed the outcome of this video.
Wow what a great channel. It’s horrifying to see that concise information dense content is so undervalued.
Thank you!
Hey man, I just wanna say I've discovered your channel via reddit some long time ago (the "leaves on the tracks" video), and I must say it has been a gem! Generally that subreddit has some sub-par videos to say the least, but yours was quite the exception.
I've been enjoying your videos a whole lot, and the production value is quite good, I hope you have it in you to push through the frustrating early times of a YT channel and make it, so that we can all enjoy your content for a lot longer :)
This has got to be the nicest comment I've had so far. I would very much like to "make it", but also, I just really enjoying making the videos, so I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon.
Thank you so much for your support.
Instead the study should be .... How can you nudge people to really reuse Reusable bags?
A good question, without a simple answer
Dictatorship
Bring back the plastic bags they are not single use
I'm not putting cat poop in a reusable bag.
As a dog owner, I'm not judging.
Single use plastic has never been the problem its the irresponsible human who throw plastic at random place rather than segregation of plastic from rest of the waste
I'm subscribing and you can't stop me.
Well damn, you've found my weakness.
why compare thin polythene bags with other thick bags??? A thick polythene bag and other bags should be compared, and here the thinnest ones are compared to disposable and reusable bags... This plastic can also be a strong thick reusable bag...
Oh sure they're filling up the landfills. Do you how much room a 1000 plastic bags take up question? Mark well my best guess is like one small child's toy question. Make sense to fix something thats not broken?
Why my queries are being removed?
If you are referencing your question about jute bags, that is because you left that comment on my loch Ness video.
Bunch of bullshit. Using efficiency as an excuse to justify plastic is plain stupidity.
There is nuance to almost every situation, and the Internet is exceptionally efficient at steam rolling it. I aimed to highlight some of the less well known complexity of the plastic bag situation in this video.
Bro let this man teach hes about to carry my debate as to why stores shouldn't ban plastic bags
@@TMW_Photography There are many other sources of reusable bag, try jute. These are sturdy. I've seen the same bag being used for years. So, this whole argument that plastic is somehow better does not hold much ground if you're really looking at the big picture.
Someone needs a timeout
It should be banned
Great argument
