i forgot just once to lift my axles turning a corner and came to a dead stop, only my pride was hurt but i survived ;] i too like the wiggling truck it puts a smile on my face, thanks again for the share
😂 I’ve had that happen when I ran multi axle in MI. Air over air and the airline came off. But instead of stopping it kept me going straight. 160k lbs.
Hey there Alice and Martin. Steve VanDyke here, you guys helped me get into FedEx after getting my CDL 3 years ago. You guys have made a bunch of changes. I’m a few videos from having it figured out but I’m happy for you guys
Love the addition of the red truck on the map. Great addition! Tiny Dancer and High Maintenance sure look awesome pulling the stainless spread axle. You both are doing great! keep up with the awesome videos. ❤❤❤
Great to see you guys back out trucking in the Midwest where I run from Wisconsin. Maybe get to say HI someday. Seen Alice stopped at Abbyland in Curtiss. They have a great truck stop and restaurant there too, and can get all the Abbyland products in the store... . BTW. A good little parking spot on I80 close to Des Moines is the BP at Colfax just before the west bound scale . Can always get a spot even late at nite as you sure won't get into Loves or Pilot around Des Moines after about 6 pm with all the solar powered truckers done for the day 😂
One word of caution with the spread. Make sure you don’t forget to put air to both axles when hit the road. If you cross a state scale with one of those axles up you will get a real expensive overload ticket. Ask me how I know! Lol
Those side box latches are nice but winter time sucks to have them. I had them and they froze all the time so I went back to the key style. Especially living up on the cold states like MN lol
I take my white shepherd with me all the time too. Love having her along. Nice security system. Lol It's nice to have days that just are carefree for sure. Stay safe.
yea! the Trucking Two gather show!! bruh! just stay home & make ''winter'' birdhouse's!!! look out! Ah!! look @ the doggies! love the vid! good luck ya'll!
Alice has the wiggle wagon this week. Nice job. And both 579's look great with your spread axle.you and Martin have done a great job on High Maintenance. Stay safe out there.
Very cool I'm so clad you are digging the new trailer and things are going well for you guys.loved the over head parts from the vid very nicely lit at night. Awesome so good to see you guys trucking again. 👍🚛👍
That looks good without the side fairings. Mine looks like crap my fuel tank has so much dirt I am hoping to replace it and put a stainless side steps too
Alice great to see you back on the road. You and Macie are awesome. My daughter drives truck too. I've told her to keep an eye out for you. Safe travels😊
All of your tractors and the trailer look great. You guys should be proud of what you’ve accomplished! Nothing wrong with leftovers, why waste good food?
21:05 No r-Factor meals?? Nothing wrong with leftovers anyway. Waste not, want not. TBH, most of my work meals are leftovers since they are easy enough to toss into a microwave for a couple of minutes (or even just cold if I don't have a chance to find time or place to stop to heat things up)
I've never pulled a spread axle trailer so my question is if it adds restrictions to turning space and possible getting into shippers and receivers seeing how brokers don't know or care where they're sending you what is the benefit of pulling one over conventional axle trailers other than looking cool ?
Benefits are easier weight distribution. Better for loads with concentrated weight in short. As an example on flatbed you can get coils weighing 50,000 to 52,000 lbs in 4 feet of trailer. If you belly load that on a tandem it’ll break the trailer in half. Ride much better also.
@@TruckingTogether oh, ok…an acquaintance last year ran his reefer from FL to Nantucket carrying some nursery shrubs as I understood it..and that was in May.

Alice that truck is one sharp truck it is so good to see y’all love the video be safe
That looks good without the side fairings. Mine looks like crap my fuel tank has so much dirt I am hoping to replace it and put a stainless side steps too
Oh yeah, this had a bunch of crap on it too, the driver side tank originally had a crack in it so it was layers of fuel and dirt caked onto it.
Thanks for the link ! I need one for the truck I drive.
Alice, I'm glad you had a good day.
Keep on Truckin
Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the video very much. Be safe and see you on the next one.😊😊

@@TruckingTogether lol … i watch all of your vids and dont recall you ever saying that . Maybe Bill is on the schrooms ?

Great video how you like doing reefer now compared to dry van?
As long as you stay away from produce it’s ok lol. Alice has done some here and there, I’ve ran reefer since about 05-06 through 2015 so nothing new.
@@TruckingTogethernever thought/knew that canned baked beans would require a reefer to transport…
they don’t John, we didn’t run the reefer on that load, loaded it as if we were a dry van
