    Hope you enjoy this quick video! Esme and I had a great time winter camping with the Can Am Defender HD10 and the OneTigris Smokey Hot Tent. The Danchel stove did a great job keeping us warm and it was a very pleasant trip!

    Great!, as always. Nice bed for Esme. I may take a trip from here in Alabama, to my birth state of Michigan, to see an old friend; in May. I retrieved my old 10 x 12 Coleman tent from my brother-in-law, who never used it anyway. I'll either sleep in that or in the back of my van, which has room for my twin air mattress. Haven't decided yet, but all of your trips have taught me things I can use for a tent trip. Good thing I won't need a stove for heat! Keep up the good presentations...

      Hi David, that sounds like a great trip!! I love to travel and I'm sure the air mattress in the van would be perfect for a quick nights sleep 😉 The Coleman 10x12 would be a great place to hang out too if you want some extra room 👍

    The Yephho dog cot turned out perfect for large german shep 100lb. I used an old army blanket which stays in place. He hops right on it and relaxes with room to spare. Then I use it too inside tent as a bench. Backyard pomoly 4-6 hex tent with T1 stove, cot matches nicely to my economy FE Active cot. Dog cot is very strong. Thanks.

    Esme's spoilt😁 Joe R says always give a dog meat on a bone, raw. Cooked bone can splinter. I think dogs instinctively like raw meat. You've got a perfect set-up. All you need for a beautiful camping experience. And the Can-Am is awesome.👍

    • @TheEmporiumOutdoors
      @TheEmporiumOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Doug - you bring up a good point about dogs and bones that is very misunderstood. Cooked bones splinter (especially chicken as its small and cooked for hours to make it brittle) but flash fried steak bones are raw, and safe. Canines eat chickens or foul all the time and easily digest the bones. They have done this for millions of years. Cooked bones are like razors are dangerous and should be avoided 👍

    Hello Michael and Esme !! Such a beautiful and relaxing video ! I think the cot for Esme is a good purchase ...for both of you ! At 24:54 it looks like you're feeding a bear!! Since the stove pipe is vertical, woud'nt the hot ashes tend to damage the tent? Take care and till the next one, have a good week.

      LOL - It does look like a black bear 🐻 - hahaha 👍 I think because the stove pipe is 2.5m tall the likelihood of something hot going up and then coming down from that hight is minimal BUT I do prefer the offset stove pipe for the very reason you mentioned 👍
