I absolutely hate tip down carry, the Socom Elite is literally the only knife I have tip down. I really wish so badly they would just tap some holes in the handle for tip up also... wouldn't be hard at all
I’m in California, it’s legal to own An Automatic, however it’s illegal to Carry one! Iv Carried one for Years No Problem at All! I’m Not Out Looking For Trouble!
Was it common for the 1998 Halo to come with a scout carry Kydex sheath? I have one that I’ve only carried a few times because I like it too much…that being said I’ve considered selling it to buy a newer/less collectible model that I would carry(think I’ve seen them go for upwards of $700, that would easily cover an Ultratech and Socom manual to go with my fixed Socom mini-currently my favorite fixed edc blade)
@@atomichabanero9101 I hear ya on Cali, wasn’t sure if I was gonna get the ZT I bought in a San Diego pier shop home after checking it with my luggage(np at all but I’d never checked a knife before, didn’t even think about it till it was too late but I’m from the Midwest so restrictive knife laws are rare and 30yrs ago weren’t enforced unless you did something especially stupid). Staying in Old Town to watch my bro graduate from the Marines was the best time I’ve had in California by far!
I like Microtech. BUT their Warranty Department is like 3 months behind. Not Good. They had to adjust the Springs on my Ultratratech OTF. Took about 3 months
@@conjandysecurity Rob Dalton designed a SEAL side opening auto that was super ahead of its time. And from the way it looks after seeing multiple Daltons I think Microtech stole more than one design.
I hope you guys realize, telling buyers to only buy from approved dealers, limits the secondary market. If buyers can't resell down the line in the secondary market, they may not buy Microtech in the 1st place. Would just tell people to be careful. I keep my receipts too. Microtech's high prices also helps create a counterfeit market.
“Fun, Star Wars-y stickers”…FFS dude, it’s a Boba Fett inspired knife (and they aren’t stickers). At least know a little bit about the specific knife if you’re gunna use it as your example. Otherwise just use a standard Ultratech.
@@og_doughboy you should be fine. I’ve seen some stores in california that sell microtech OTF. Though some online stores will not ship them to california
Microtech are absolute 🐶 💩. Guardian tactical destroy microtech! My two recon 035s have been edc for over 2 years on and off and I’m a real knife guy who uses his knives not slice a sheet of paper every month for a TH-cam video.. and they held up and love the abuse! My microtechs have all broke one the blade deployed and broke and was stuck open. It’s a fixed blade paper weight . And that was after 2 months of very very light use . And the other one broke after 5 months of medium use . Other people I know also have had problems with microtechs. And then the warranty program they talk about all the time , which ya will need owning a microtech, takes like minimum 8 weeks to get your knife back and that’s a generous minimum time frame. I’ve heard of people taking 12 to 13 weeks untill they got there knives back. Which either way ya look at that it’s bad for them because if they have that many broken knives to fix what does that tell ya about there knives.
The've moved to standardized screws for all the new models, that have come out this year. Like the Hera II and the Combat Troodon III. All the new ones with the new, smoother firing system
I would definitely purchase one from you, but unfortunately, you took away the layaway program. Don’t worry there are about six other retailers out there that do. very poor business decision. Most retailers want to expand their customer base, but you obviously want to shrink it. Good luck in the future.
Bladehq needs to be better than this and call out knife makers for their nonesense. Microtech has a reputation for running their steels softer than its potential resulting in lower edge retention along with lock failure issues with the RAM lock. Be loyal to your customers not any knife makers!
I own a LCC. Lightfood Compact Combat. It’s over 20 years old and I still love it.
I have the same model in micarta + 154CM! It’s a fantastic design. ☺️👍

One of My all time favorite knife brands
The ultimate microtech meat rider.
Just recently got into non budget friendly blades and Microtech and Protech are my jam. I'm broke
Love my Combat Troodons…
wheres the ludt gen 3 at?
Really appreciate when country of manufacture is clearly stated.
No Hera Mini's? The colors on the website aren't accurate and I was hoping to see them on video.
Microtech is great. LUDT is one of my favorite knives.
?!? What happened to the Dirac Delta? It has a longer blade than the Ultratech and a side opener.
Will they discontinue the previous gen combat trodoon and Ludt ? I prefer the feel and look of those ones

I'm not a fan of the pocket clips in general.
Well done...Watching as I flip my Amphibian Fluted Aluminum OD blade!
I’m in a state where automatics are a no go, so all my microtechs are manual:
•Socom Elite
•LCC M/A
•D.O.C.
All dependable tools for everyday carry!

Mafione is the Master. Cheers from Australia.
So the Halo 6 is discontinued? Is there something that has replaced it? I noticed the troodon has a shorter blade.
When are you guys getting LUDT's back in stock? I want one!😅lol
Go to NCblade. That's where I get all my microtechs

What about the Rob Dalton seal looks a lot like the LUDT I’m pretty sure Robs came first.
Yeah, Marfione has been accused of stealing designs!

The Gen 3 OTFs have them.
That first knife Is my go to michrotech, I could see Boba or jango using it 🤔 😎
Why are they so expensive?
This was hard to watch as a big microtech fan!
So anything made before the zero blade play is garbage??
If I’m going to a war zone I’m taking a scarab
Can you get these in Cali?
Technically legal to own but not legal to carry besides the manual microtechs
