Hey everyone, in today's video I'm showing how I preserve my wash n go and keep my curls defined even after 5 days. I also talk about my go to product and how it helped with my hair growth.

I don't understand why people argue about hair types. 1. It's very common to have multiple hair types in one head of hair. And 2. Why be mad at someone ELSE'S hair?

Not only that. Two people can have the same hair type that looks different and can react different to various products. I am also a 3c,4a and 4b, but my hair is not as thick as her hair so how I preserve my wash and go is different. Also because my hair is not as thick as hers some products that she may use could be too heavy for me and I will need to try something different. People have to consider more than hair type when looking at what product to use or what your hair routine will be like porosity, is it thick or thin etc. If her routine doesn't work for you it doesn't mean that she is lying about her hair type it just means that her routine is not for you. If a product doesn't work for you its nothing wrong with that product it's just not for your hair even if you have the same hair type. Hair can be temperamental at times. At least mine is.
Also I agree with you. We are all on this journey together and we need to support one another. We have been taught that our hair is unacceptable and ugly and that perming our hair is the way to go. Our hair is our crown that was bestowed upon us. For those of us who have been natural for a long time should share our experiences and wisdom to those who are new on this journey or who may be struggling and need support. At the end of the day its about self acceptance and loving the beautiful hair that GOD had blessed us with.

I won’t lie! That curl max activator with some water, and a little almond oil added and black Jamaican castor oil has been a WASH AND GO MIRACLE!!!

I'm a hair stylist and you are correct about your curl texture. All curly hair clients have 2 to 3 texture of curl patters. You are correct. Love the video.♥️

I have a similar hair texture to you and I can relate to what you're saying about your hair with and without product. Using gel-like products really defines your curls and people are always surprised when I wear my hair without it. Your hair looks amazing! I have been in a serious hair battle lately! With 2 little kids and lots of type 4 hair.....I have neglected it. So many TH-cam videos for natural hair have people with thinner hair. Totally fine! I can’t stand when someone argues with me about my hair type. Not ALL TYPE 4 hair is dry and unmanageable (once you find the right product combo). The key to type 4 hair is hydration so I wet my hair every single day and deep condition often. I’m so glad you basically told people to shut up Lol! Black women we need to do better....so much pettiness!

Referring to different types of type 4 hair as “dry and unmanageable” is the part of the problem. We’d do much better as a people without the arrogance.

This is the same process I use minus the cream you added, but I may try it. New subscriber. Also I agree, your hair type looks just like mine more than any TH-cam I have followed. I have 4a /b and way your hair responded to that refresh confirmed it for me. I have fine strands, but a lot of hair, so it looks super thick when it dries.
I love that your wash & go lasts a little more than a week! I need my wash & go to go back to lasting that long, so I know I have to find the right moisturizing products for my hair since my curl pattern is a little tighter since I cut it in a pixie last October.
That curl Max is the real deal.! 🙌🏽 I’m so glad you recommended this product because my hair has been so healthy and moisturized🙏🏽❤️ that’s always been a struggle for me with my natural type 4 hair maintaining the moisture and I will always have to cut because of the dry never ending died ends.! So I just recently big chopped again (3rd time) and I will be using the curl Max this time around 😁🤙🏾❤️🥰

Subscribed! We have the exact same hair types, with almost the same placement of the different textures as well. And I do the same shake and go with my hair but I use regular conditioner, right now using the ogx coconut curls. I will try out your curl max and see how that works for me. My problem is crunchy hair if I use gel or, kinky curly. I'm trying to get softer curls.

Love this style sis....and it definitely works! I've used this method for over two years and it really makes a difference. My hair type is probably the same as yours and it can get rough depending on how I treat it (lol). De-tangling while wet is a must indeed! I believe in the hands off method as much as possible and have seen some very significant growth (healthy is what I'm really after though). Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work. I highly agree with you in theory that simple and quality product regimens are always best! Keep basting in your natural :).

Buying some today cause this lil baby fro staaaaay dry.....it's fine while wet but absorbs my oils and stuff so fast. I don't even wear it out nor have I found products to define my curls except when I use edge control and put too much my curls want to come out Lol. I have like 3 types too
