I do this exact same thing, stretch the back - scrunch the front with diffuser! And the front of my hair is also more frizz prone. It's nice to see someone who has long flourishing hair, keeps me motivated! 👸🏽💜

My hair is super short at the crown area it always looked sooo uneven when dry,but this method was a life changer im on day 6 hair, my hair was out all week.💞💞💞💞👌 Thats why im here searching how to refresh day 6 curls.

I don’t think you can train your hair to have definition. I think it depends on your curl type and texture. But from my personal experience with my hair type, the healthier my hair is, the more defined it gets. And also, using really good/ tried-and-true stylers and products, helps me get definition so much more!🙌🙌
Hey just a tip for some people if you do your hair and your if the rest of your hair is dry and your roots are wet your roots can be less pours than you ends
It's also because everything shrinks up and keeps the roots from drying. Everybody keep playing porosity and majority of the time it depends on the density of your hair.
Your curls are gorgeous.. I just recently went back to the creamy crack after being natural for almost 5 years and I was shocked at how long my hair was in a straightened state. I don't miss the shrinkage struggle and them fairy knots, I gotta admit I am relieved to have my straight hair again but y'all naturals are sKrong cause the struggle is real! 😂🤦🏾♀️
It's hard without the relaxer and I don't have that kind of time...ugh. I do love my natural hair it's beautiful wavy and nice curls. But I have no time I'm considering relaxing even though I don't want to.

Never microwave products! It changes the molecular structure. I had to cut 6 inches of hair after microwaving a gel. I hope nothing bad happened here, but the product bonded with my hair and I eventually had to cut it because it ruined my curl pattern, my hair was straight in some places.😢
Dag I didn't even think about warming up the soufle gel!!😲 Next I'll try it that way and see if I get better results cuz the first time was a complete mess😂😂
@@Bri-bl2nc does it cut down on drying time? I have a ton of 4a curls low porosity and thick to dry my curls takes about and hour on high heat high blow with a diffuser with an old school blow dryer I believe from revlon

My hair could take a whole day to dry because it's dense at the roots, but the diffuser on low heat/cool setting and high speed works really well If you ever straighten your hair, it also does an incredible job of sealing the cuticle so your hair stays sleek. If there's a Sephora/Ulta near you, you could test it out in store to see if you like it.

I can't use a Denman brush. The last time I used it to smooth product through my hair it shrunk to chia pet length.

Yes. It does by the next day. So I have to keep it stretched at night-time if I want it stay stay elongated☺️

Try the banding method afterwards it really helps
