I remember recently in the terrific Ferrari 888 Superfast test review, very close to where he mentioned Horses here, he came around a bend and fortunately in that moment was not accelerating that very loud car , when I saw a horse and rider coming up on the left about 100 yards away, very hard to spot at first, and was very fearful. I was so glad that nothing bad happened as Horses can take fright easily and will tend to bolt. When we have an animal weighing up to 1000 lbs , not incl rider, on a very narrow road, we have the potential for a disaster. Growing up in Ireland, I am very accustomed to these situations and the danger of them.
It is so satisfying seeing you do high speeds and everyone gets over to the right lane. Truly I think I must move to Germany. In the USA you would have 6 people on their phones swerve in front of you at high speeds.
I absolutely love mine, no feeling like it in any Porsche when you fire it up. Mines the same but with carbon everything and ceramics. Best car I’ve ever had and I’ve owned a few.
That sound is good! Many great featurres, the centerlock wheels, the ride improvements and so on, but everything else is dwarfed by the sound! I guess the Turbo S is faster on the 1/4 but this is easily the coolest Porsche to get!

@@alchemist2048 They already tested hybrid first on the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid back in 2010, then they went to LMP1 with the 919 hybrid between 2014 and 2017 and they won Le Mans 3 times. The hybrid system will be available the 911 992.2 road car in 1 or 2 years as the current 992 chassis was designed to introduce all the hybrid components. They already have a lot of experience with hybrid systems.
What a stunning car. On a sidenote: Enjoy the Autobahn without speed limit while you still can. I'm afraid we are going to lose unrestricted driving in the course of the next 1-2 years unfortunately. So much climate stuff going on and the greens are rising ... it's only a matter of time :(
A month ago I was walking my dog. We crossed the bridge just few meters from the autobahn towards Luxembourg and Germany And I saw a black 992 911 GT3 full acceleration on left lane The sound of this beast… I will always remember these few seconds ( I wish to see that again … 😭)

I watch these videos with only pure admiration of the guts to go as fast as you do. I don't think that I would do it even with an Autobahn. The fact thought of flying at 300km/h and someone not checking their mirrors scares the daylights out of me lol.
I really support what you say about it being crazy all the time, not just at 9,000, and emphasizing the low and middle rpm emotions. A car with a 9,000rpm redline is like a tenor who has a high C. The opera composers knew not to write a high C into every phrase of the aria, but only into the climactic moment of the aria towards the end. If you hear the high C too many times, it's no longer special. Similarly, when driving the GT3, you save the 9,000rpm for special moments in the drive, if you even go all the way up there at all. Otherwise it's no longer special. This review, however, was special indeed 💯
@@02hreblue30 it’s not that because of the new OPF systems in the new cars. Sport plus and pressing both shifters (I think) allows to rev the car until the red line.
I'm totally agree with you they have put so much effort and ressources on a gt3, for me the gt3 always meant to be a road car that you can use it sometimes for track days but here this gt3 is more like a track car that you can use it on roads.... I mean isn't so bad if you think about but now the expectations for the gt3 rs and maybe a gt2 rs are really high. If you have to choose you should consider this one if you're really about track days if not you should go by the Turing
The rear spoiler is designed just like an airplane wing. A plane generates lift when faster air moves over the top of the wing. The GT3 and GT3 RS use the inverse where faster air moving under the wing creates downforce.

I think if it had the carbon fiber top the wing would look dope if made out of the same to match. I do wish you showed the speed in mph but I’m getting use to doing the conversion In my head! 🤣 This car is insane! NA!!

Just amazing….straight away, turbo 4s beats it, Tesla plaid beats it, but boy, i would rather have the gt3. It looks just so much more exciting to drive. Great video.
This is no joke: The entry level 911 with "only" 385 HP and around 100.000 €uro does 0-60 in less then 4 seconds (CarWow measured 3.86 seconds). If you take your "super cheap" 911 to the german Porsche specialist 9ff, you get a "Stage 1" (=Software only) with over 500 HP. I just want so say: If you are into quick acceleration and a Porsche fan - save 80.000 €uro and just buy the cheapest one. Ok, ok, I know - no 9.000 RPM symphony, but hey - it's still a 911. The legend itself.
The aero management on this car insane already and the gt3 rs turned it up to 11. FYI That swan neck is derived from racing to basically eek out the most performance out of the wing by cleaning up the underside where most of the downforce is generated since their wings are regulated to a max width and teams want to gain any advantage possible to win. Putting the mounts on the underside causes minor losses in downforce. Porsche did it for performance and visual flair. GMA's T50S which is probably one of the highest downforce track cars uses a underside mount since Murray knows it unnecessary for a unregulated track car. Those vanes on the underside are to sweep away the dirty tire wake which is also an enemy of downforce generating cars

Porsche never said that the GT3 will be turbocharged, they said it will be hybrid.
The combustion engine will stay in the 911.

At first, i was sceptical of the rear wing too. But now, it has grown so much on me and it looks perfect for the 992 gt3. Absolutely love it !!!

Most unfiltered, direct review experience of a hardcore 911 I've seen on here - crazy capable machine.
The sound is primal. It’s the classic car sound you make when you are a child just getting into cars.
This is a work of art, that man made, without limit. In my opinion, the best that Porches has done so far.
