Average cost is actually $5k for a used one in his condition. It may have a bit of miles but miles on a bike doesn’t compare to a car as long as it is maintained like it should be it will last as long as he wants it too.

Well, this Duke is a wild thing to start. Seems like he does not know how to handle the clutch. My first shifter was a 50cc "moped" and I had to bail out, poppig up the front wheel and scratched pretty much everything the first day. I don't wanna think about what happend with +600cc.

Good job Randy, I was a little hesitant and scared to when I bought my first bike, but once I went through the safety training course I came out with a better understanding and knowledge of how motorcycles operate and it did boost my confidence up some as well. I been riding since April 1st of this year so I'm still new to it, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. Biggest advice I can give is there will be crazy drivers out there that don't like motorcycles so do your best to steer clear when available to do so. 3rd time out for me I had a person in an XC90 Volvo SUV put mine and my buddies life at risk when we were on our motorcycles by passing us and 2 other vehicles with a double solid line and on a blind up hill bend. It was scary for both of us. Anyway, enjoy your new motorcycle and yes I know this video has been up for about a month, but I'm just getting back to your videos now. Keep on keepin' on (btw I ride a 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750CC)

Been riding for 3 years now and still learning all the time. Love the video! I really like the bike and I don’t think it’s bad at all for the price. Biggest tip I could give to any new rider is to stay away from that front brake any time you are turning or leaning at all. The front brakes on bikes are really touchy and that’s how most beginners eat it. I’m sure you will hear that from a lot of other riders also.

This is one of my favorite bikes of all , now Randy I'm not a bike guy they are risky considering our lives and more I want cars always they are the real fun , but speaking of bikes I'm not a KTM guy but these KTM dukes just look so mean , aggressive man they are some fine fantastic basically fast sports bikes and you got the 690 which is one of the top of the line , man love this beast , she is lovely !!!!!.
( Randy by the way I want to mention that not only does it require ignition , the Fuel system cap and the whole back seat assembly but also the mirrors , I mean the side mirrors yes that's also important ) .
Basically one of my favorites and as a starter to see you got this absolute power horse to begin with man that's insane !!!! and you already gettin' well along with it in driving and fixing it , well done dude , excellent work , lovin' the content always . Oh and by the way Randy can't wait for more LA walkarounds man it was awesome !!!!! and most of all Randy I know you can and so I'm tellin' and requesting you , you got get to the rebuilding cars with little more damage yes I'm serious and I know you can yes like that 2005 Maserati Grand sport at IAA in LA with undercarriage damage you she shew was perfect or the C8 or even more that bright blue M4 and also maybe a Hellcat or scatpack now I know you had a hellcat but by trying to rebuild that will be extremely special and epic or any car as well . Any ways lovin' all this top high quality content , it awesome. Stay safe and God bless. :)

I used to ride all the time, I’ve had everything from a early 70’s Honda CB 350, to a fully dressed GL 1200 Interstate.....they’re fantastic, but be careful! It’s not what you’re doing you have to be worried about, it’s every other fool on the roads you have to watch out for....the roadway isn’t as forgiving when you’re on two wheels compared to four wheels! Good looking bike though, I’d be lying if I said I don’t miss my Goldwing!

Always liked the look of the KTM bikes. Lot of people in cars driving distracted, be ultra careful out there Randy. The bike is fine to learn on saddle height is very important and you clearly have you feet flat on the ground. Enjoy but again watch out for the raging cagers, ask me how I know!

Hi, i am from Austria where KTM came from. You didn't get a beginner bike because she is very rough and proper KTM have to be like that. I wish you always a safe ride and be careful. Using your bodyweight helps you to steer.

You got this Randy. Just remember, when in doubt, throttle out.

Actually with the torque it has its easier to drive away, just mind your speed and always anticipate. Big Up!
