i have this on my mini and the timing chain cover as well . looks great, fit great but i did have to modify my engine mount a bit so the belt could be replaced without pulling or lifting the motor.

I converted the pulley my 998 fast road to a multi rib type, similar to the type used on the Japanese MPis. Its great for dealing with Belt squeal, especially if you have airconditioning on. Would I be able to fit the crank damper to a multi rib type pulley?

Yes this will be ideal on a Midget, just check the clearance to the front cross member, as it seems these cars were all built slightly differently!

It was a pain in the a•• to install. It was rubbing against the coolant hose.
We have seen some dodgy radiators recently with the lower outlet positioned incorrectly, which would give this problem.
