Gotta take the rough with the smooth Kev, thanks for showing us both sides of the coin and not sugar coating everything for YT
I think Kev is literally living every grown man’s dream tbh!!
Monster trucks
Fast cars
Planes
Rc stuff
The little set back with the monster truck won’t stop him, every time I have seen him irl he is non stop smiling, his cheeks must hurt at this point
yea
Kevin, for the holes and cuts on your tires, you can use 3M windshield glue. It dries fairly quickly ~ 15 - 30 minutes.
Super glue isn't flexible and breaks up really fast.
We used that on off-road tires for rallycross. 👍😊
Nah just stick from behind.
He didn't have 15-30 minutes to burn.
Kev trust me bro you've never quit before just fix it learn from past mistakes and come back stronger and better you got this do it for your childhood self😭
Yes kev go on try again you will smash it so will the truck
I agree wiht your pfp
Awesome PFP
Race car parts. Ami right?
Fix it and keep moving boss!!!!!! I’ve been a fan since back in the day watch all your videos all the way through one of the most interesting and entertaining content ever thank you kevin!!!!
You didn't let anyone down. It's a breakdown, it happens 😢 don't worry
thanks bro
@@KevinTalbotTV we know your hearts in that truck. We'll see it soon again. Keep at it good luck with everything 👍🏻
There aren’t many people who can say their MONSTER TRUCK let me down. You’ll come back strong, look at what you have already achieved.
DAMMIT!! Damdee damn damn hydraulic line will getcha every time!! 😡🤬
That's for sure...
I guess "it's getting it now" is easier when it's a few hundred dollars at stake rather than a few hundred thousand. I was still half expecting to hear it, lol.
It may not help the disappointment but, true failure is not giving it a go. Well done fella, you will be back there with gusto Kev.
A regular old pallet jack works great for putting those big tires on. I used to build and test the big Case Ih floater trucks that use those big wheels, and we found just rolling them onto a pallet jack and then rolling the pallet jack to the hub works as well as anything for putting the tires on 👍
Good idea
Something has to give when its christmas everyday😂 lol ,just fix it get to wrenching lol
Kevin, as a drag racer BELIEVE ME, it happens. Save your money and go through the truck and come back Bigger and Better 😂
Gutted. We're all rooting for you, dude! Just like the X-Maxx. Bash, repair, repeat!
Kevin.
There may have been a technical issue with the truck and yes that's disappointing, but remember that there were loads of people that got to meet you. You bring smiles to people's faces, so always look on the bright side. 😀👍
I had a line blow right near a big fire pit we were jumping. The instant blow caught fire and caused a big temporary fire. Keep having fun!
that sounds scary!!
I'm glad I went the last 2 years and didn't see game over game over
Hitting the brakes was hilarious 😂
To say this isnt a worthwhile video is very wrong kev, this was a fantastic video, teaches everyone things don't always go perfectly, plus big trucks destroying stuff, and acrobatic airplanes is exactly what your viewers want! Keep up the good work! Don't under sell your videos brother!
Glad you enjoyed it bro
Felt bad for you Kev! You´ll win next year!
Lmfao just throw money at it guy. 💰😂 You got it.
It's cool how much monster trucks are growing over there, each video you do you can see more and more people in the stands.
Kevin we need more boat vids
Sorry for the loss of your monster truck😢
working on a boat video now
@@KevinTalbotTV ahaha YEAH what happend to the animal twin cat? Havent seen her in a while
Kev.
Thanks for sharing, and remember that it could be a lot worse than a leaking pump.
There could have been lots more damage, and the most important thing is no one got hurt.
Hey kev, I am a teenage kid who saw one of your videos a few years back, and now I’m hooked on Rc. I know it sucks to get something ready and breaking it right away (arrma tough lol) but because of your videos, I always find joy in the hobby. I know Rc isn't monster trucks, but the point is, this is just a setback, and we are ALL rooting for you dude! Keep going!!
Motorsport can be heart breaking sometimes.
Glad it was only a powersteering hose Kevin. Could have been a lot worse.
Airshow was awesome though and it's always great to see Ian and Claire!!!
Kev... you're an inspiration to a lot of us, myself included. Seeing you so gutted was heartbreaking. I can assure you that you didn't let anyone down, it was totally out of your control. Mechanical failures happen. I'm sure you will come back better and stronger next year. It's not GAME OVER!
As an American who’s tired of everything going on in my country, I must say your videos are a welcome respite from that. Much love man wishing Game Over a speedy recovery ❤
This is your first time doing something like this, I’d be highly surprised if your truck made it without breaking.
Good learning curve for yourself.
We still enjoyed you being there and getting this far.
More enjoyment to come.
That's awesome that you're scared of motorcycles but you're not scared of the fastest stunt plane in the world, you rock, I'm scared of flying ❤
KevTal, my guy, it happens a lot man so don’t get discouraged!! Us fellas in the states go through a lot of parts every event! You didn’t fail, a mechanical part failed. Just learn from the heartbreak and come back better! You can do this!
when i went working at a race track with my grandmother, the association was called AHRMA,and i worked at the gingerman raceway in Michigan,i worked mainly in the pits/paddock area, and i had the same energy all day long, truly a dream
You know what Kev?? You’re just winding up for an EPIC COMEBACK STORY!! Keep on doing what you love Kev, we’re all here to support and enjoy your content!
Kev you didnt let us down, these things happen your honestly a hero to some of us. Your the reason me and my dad got into rc bashing and i was so glad to see you got into monster trucking we will both be there to watch you next year and we cant wait, thankyou for all that you do your an inspiration to us all.
Motorsports is heartbreaking. Nice to see Claire and Ian.
Thanks for the shout out Kev, sometimes you have them days. Back stronger.
good to see ya again dude
Sometimes it’s the simplest thing that can ruin your day. Was gonna suggest wire locking - but your bracket does the same job. 👍🏻
Next year - eh! ☺️
Sorry about the truck, but I have to say, don't feel too let down. This is just part of motor sport. I used to go to the track and watch my dad race modifieds and many times over the years his race was ruined by mechanical failures or a crash. But because of his persistence his trophy case is full.
Kevin u are the definition of never give up from selling stuff on ebay now you built your own monster truck never give up on your dreams people there is always an opportunity for you to become like you in your dreams never give up
1 like = Kevin Talbot is the best!
What I admire about Kevin is he’s already set just doing the rc stuff, but he still has the drive to take on projects like monster trucking, kudos to him
Awwwww Kev, so sorry for the bad luck. Next time it will be better, don't you worry! You build the most beautiful Monster-Truck, so you won that category for me 😘
I love the camaraderie at these events, it'd be awesome to see these machines in person some day!
Just like the little ones, breakdowns and failures are part of the parcel. Props to you for showing the downs as well as the ups.
This happens all the time with monster trucks, breakage is to be expected with beasts like these. No need to worry, just gotta get your puppy back up and running!
It really was Game over for game over 😞
for now anyway
Hey Kevin, sorry to hear what happened to your monster truck thank you for still deciding to put the video up but us as a community. We’re always here for you even whenever you go through tough times just remember it’s only a toy. At least we haven’t lost you your a lot more valuable then a truck
No different the Drag Racing and loosing to a Parts failure. But that's racing!
@KevinTalbot ! Look up Aerospace Safety Wire or Safety Cable & techniques. It’s used to prevent tubes, fittings, bolts, and certain studs on aircraft engines from coming loose. Much easier for maintenance practices than having to hack-fab brackets!
All you do is drill a couple holes in the B-Nut end, and Drill a hole in a nearby bracket or fixture to attach it to.
I highly recommend safety wiring any hydro & fuel fittings! Well worth the initial effort for the long term reliability!
Keep on keepin on brother!! You always make me smile!!!
At least it's not something major Kev, you still have all the fans, friends and respect of your peers. See you next year.
Yeah, from all that smoke I expected a connecting rod through the engine block.
That would have been expensive, and a lot of work!
The one way you can tell that these TH-camrs are real or not as if they're like Kevin when doing what they do for the people is what puts a smile on their face and Kevin you do not have to say you're sorry to anybody I've been following you since day one and you are an inspiration you are the man just live your life bro do what you do live your life and keep on smiling
Oh Kev, my dad's homemade ultralight airplane, called a legal eagle, is having engine failure. He welded the whole thing with his own hands. It happens to all of us.
At first I thought the engine was the culprit. I know it was a bummer to miss the show, but I'm glad the only physical lost was hydraulic fluid. I thought you might get to do an RC monster truck freestyle when they asked you about RC monster trucks. I enjoyed the airshow footage.
That is competing for ya. Sometimes it goes great and sometimes it all falls apart. All of these trials and tribulations are what add to the experience. I found the experiences and people I met along the way have been what I remembered over the tough times. When I was having a rough weekend, I put in my all to make things work and if I didn't overcome those issues then I would just go take it all in and try to make the most of it
Never mind Kev, it's always a learning experience with a truck like that. Expect the vibrations were too much for the joint, that bracket is genius. Come back bigger and better next year!
As Chaka Khan once said, I feel for you! It’s a nice crowd at Santa Pod and - in the nicest way possible - everyone was gutted not to see Game Over trash that caravan. Keep going!
I’m so sorry to see this happened to your truck💔😥
He broke it, he's happy. He is only happy when destroying RC cars and monster truck That is why we watch his videos to see him tear up stuff most of us can not afford in a life time. Great job Kevin and keep destruction alive. Why take care of stuff when you can destroy it for our entertainment.
He doesn't *like* breaking rc trucks he fixes them afterwards @@ohwell2790
Just remember it’s not the trophy’s that matter . It’s the friends you made along the way you are the winner! 🥇
Kev it was not a let down!!! people don't just go to see "Game Over" THEY COME TO SEE YOU, not only did we get a new video we got to see you and your awesome personality and brutal honesty thank you kev
Oh Kev don't bring yourself down! I've seen the actual thing and was very impressed that you made your best effort to not give up! It was still a good show regardless and you tried your best efforts to impress us fans. Yes it may feel like a let down but this is a learning curve to hopefully make it better for next year 😊
doesn't matter if you win or lose to me!. I happy to get to watch you do something I have always wanted to do. You are living the dream and not selling hamburgers to make a living. We love you for what you give us, and thats why we are here.
Those incredible acrobatic techniques are what has been passed down from time long ago. They were the building blocks of life or death in air-to-air combat. I believe most were before any were powered by the 'jet engine'.
Fails make great TH-cam content so you can't lose. It's like when comedians have a bad experience then use it in their routine.
Hey kevin, don't beat yourself up too much. It happens to all of us. I have been to shows where Grave Digger was out of commission for the entire weekend. Yet the crowds still enjoyed the show. I know it's disappointing, but it happens to everyone. Keep your head up man, you built a freaking monster truck in your house. That is a huge accomplishment on its own.
A commercial break right at the height of suspense in the tire race
It could be worse
It could be me 😁
You should put chrome red on the truck and the wolf with chrome teeth that would look sick kev
remember to heat the block up before you ever need to start it here in the fall by the way. Cold starting isnt the best for the engine. Love from USA
My first build was my 2005 IS 300. I couldn’t afford to buy the parts plus pay someone to install them too. So I learned as I built the car, and on its maiden run I blew the engine up entirely. There was more of my engine on the road than under the hood…talk about a brutal hit to take. 6 months later and a new engine and I was back up and running again.
It sucks, but nobody holds it against you Kev. It's a learning experience with those big boys for sure.
Sorry that your truck broke down Kev. I'm glad you figured out a solution and we can't wait to see it back in action!
Never give up kev, from failure comes success :)
Game Over certainly looked and sounded the business we so were gutted when things didn't work out for you. My boys were dead chuffed that they got to meet you beforehand though and we even made it into the video so we'll just have to come up again next year ;-)
Its nice to see Max actually doing something constructive instead of destructive! 😂😂 Tough luck Kev. Youll get em next time
No disappointment Kev, keep doing what you love and most importantly have fun
Nice event. You were unlucky, but it happens. Next year it will be your show.
That sucks.. but you got it fixed and went to a cool air/car/whatever show. You’re still living the dream bro.
Sad to see Kev so gutted. We all know that Kev and Gameover will be back better than ever next time
I know you already get this, but without the rain, the sunshine doesn’t mean as much. We always see you smiling and laughing on TH-cam, but it’s just as important to show the tougher moments too. My small webstores aren’t at the level where I can afford to build monster trucks or take on huge projects yet, but this video shows the real side of owning these kinds of toys.
Think of it as a learning experience-there’s always something to take away from what happens 😎👍🏾
Thanks bro.
Bigger challenges, bigger setbacks, but these are temporary and will result in even greater success
I love the F-14. That's why I worked on them in the Navy. VF-21. Go Freelancers!
Don’t quit bro even if you fail you can use the knowledge you learned before and not have that happen again
Kev, i genuinely think this isint a thing to cry about. I get it os hard but it gives you an opportunity to put in more effort and remember, legends like you can always make an uprise.
Kev, if those bolts keep backing out, go online and order some green strength Loctite, if you put it together, it’ll never come off
Tough break brother, you'll come back better. Quitting ain't in your heart.
First the monster RC truck you sent to the moon took a massive dive to one of the front wheels and now this
I feel like you guys do monster trucks right. Here in the states they just bash till broke. They don't consider it a good run unless they roll and rip a axle off.
You should wrap your lambo with game over 😀
Cmon kev! Never give up! Think about your country's military. Do they give up in battle because it's not working? HELL NO! THEY FIGHT ON! That's what you need to do. Keep on going. Even if it fails. Keep on going. Even if it's hard. Keep on going. Even if it doesn't want to work first time. KEEP ON GOING DAMN IT! DONT GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP! You saying I let you guys down. NO KEV you bring us joy and information about your work! You chose to make a channel for the people. NEVER say you let us down! YOU BROUGHR US UP! GET ER DONE KEV. WE BELIEVE IN YOU❤❤!
Glad you are showing the bad with the good as always. Jumping in to something new takes time. Stick with it brother. It will pay off in the end!!!
It was good to finally meet you Kev and Andy at the air show! 👍
Just like the small trucks, bashem, breakem, takem back home and fixem and come back out another day. Such is life, better luck next time!
now I don't know if Kevin drives the monster truck often enough to make a difference, but once a year there's potential for this to happen
Its an Army One - With Royal Navy all over it. Its a Westland Lynx.
Thanks for sharing. Take it from a long-time auto racer that days like the one you filmed for us will only make the successful days of the future that much sweeter. Don't get discouraged you're still very new to auto racing and you jumped into the deep end with a freaking MONSTER TRUCK, most folks start with carts or at least cheap cars. LOL Guess that's just not your style.
The moment when you look at the cars being crushed and think 'they are all better than my car' :(
Pick yourself up dust yourself off an carry on we all learn by our mistakes WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT STOP DOING IT
seeing the monster truck and your plane together was EPIC!! let's hope for a better season next year and maybe this year will be the year you graduate and get your pilots licence! (pending on how busy your schedule is) cheers! see you in the next vid!
Hey Kevin! Life long motorsports enthusiast here. I grew up drag racing, then drifting. If there is one thing I learned in any discipline, is that you will have huge set backs. Im sure your friend with Swamp Thing or Reaper can confirm. In the big scheme of things, a hydraulic line is not a serious failure. In one season of drifting, I blew up 7 engines. Due to a poorly designed fuel system. You wanna talk about gutted. Several times I had a line of people ready for rides and then I blew it up and let them down. These were not failures though, just learning experiences. Just like you learned a way to keep the line from loosening. I suggest you secure the hoses themselves! The hose will flex and move with pressure. This is what causes them to loosen the nut. I like you bracket to secure the nut, however you may want to secure the lines themselves. This will remove the strain off of the 90 degree fittings going into the nuts. I love your show and hate to see you so defeated. But the end of this episode was great, as everyone had fun with you and Game Over. Keep up the good work Kev! -Shelby, from Dallas
That’s what happens, things break, if you don’t like working on your stuff you’ve got the wrong hobby! 👍
Cheers Stemp! You are a part of the channel.🥳
Kev them plastic engine builds and destruction vids were proper funny.
