How many of us back in the day had tyres like this on our Frogs, Hornets etc lol not by choice though!
Thanks guys for lending this to Glenn for us to see! Totally different and cool to see a buggy that's still being raced it looks so well made and everything is done for practicality!
Looks strong too with the tower being supported by those braces and metal chassis!
    Love the paint job too!
Like you say Glenn something different and something l will never own or want to be honest but that's not being disrespectful to this buggy its a proper racing buggy and its a cool thing to see!
    Next week sounds interesting buddy.

You should see some videos from a guy I used to watch I don't know if he's doing videos anymore he would show what that vehicle was capable of and it was amazing.

So different see that compared to one on my Tamiya kits, that you can tell is just built to dominate on the track.

Thanks Glenn for a look at this race car and yes there definitely high up their now among the top for sure and yes coloured anodised is way cooler than black gives it that depth and breaks up the different components well and yes the slicks are so cool nice car overall thanks Dennis H & Glenn. 🙂

G'day Glenn nice car mate. I recon Dennis sends you the cars in hope you will give them a quick clean before you show them. Sorry can't help it OCD I clean the hell out of everything. Great video mate haven't seen an Sex-ray in a long no clothes cheers mate 👍👍

Im the same. I constantly take cars apart just because they are a bit dirty. I even clean the threads on screws thoroughly. It gets exhausting but I can't help myself. 😅

I have too many cars and too many races to keep up especially racing on dirt-

Sorry Dennis I mean no harm you and Glenn are great people. Yes I know it's hard to keep them all clean when you have lots to clean.

@@lionelplunkett9428 no worries- I just try to get them to Glenn in between times when I run them. That’s why he usually gets them right from the track🤣

That is a very nice buggy, X-Ray (Hudy) make some brilliant bits of kit. The only issue is the price, the cars and spares are really expensive, very good but expensive. Great video as always!!

Nice to see the xb2 up close , im potentially in the market for a modern 2wd to race and move away from just vintage , the only realistic options are the schumacher ld2, ae b6 and this . Left me hanging as i want to know which car it is next week 🤣

    • @user-qg8tc9il8x
      @user-qg8tc9il8x ปีที่แล้ว

Edit I've just caught up and seen it's the schumacher 👍and that's my most sensible option due to parts support in the UK

If i was to get another modern, it would prob be an xray i had the xb4 21, the quality was amazing. And could of been a great car to drive, but only drove it 3 times. Went back to vintage 😂 ive never driven on a clay track but would love to give it a go, the slicks just look like they would slide, but give amazing grip 😂

Nice buggy, in need of a clean. I've never run or built or had anything to do with Xray RC cars/buggies tbh. It looks the business though, and quite a few people run their gear so, must be ok.
