Sicario was Not underrated at all.... whereas I agree ‘upth3punks’ that Hell or High Water actually WAS indeed truly underrated as a film. There was No hype Whereas the sicario films generated Massive hype; even though it’s a good movie, it’s an action-suspense movie and this was a suspenseful thrilling but dramatic piece of film..... and highly underrated.
I wouldn't necessarily say "underrated". Got 4 oscar noms and a bunch a critics loved it. Maybe not as hyped but can stand with the best modern day movies. But we all know hype doesn't mean quality. And btw, the Sicario writer did this movie too.
I fucking love this movie. One of my favorite brother dynamics - their bond felt so real... I always wished me and my own brother could be close like that. ..
Can't add much to what has been said; incredible film, soundtrack and acting, all around. I now think of Ben Foster as one of the most talented actors out there.
"Because you asked little brother". I lost two older brothers in the last 5 years. We fought like cats and dogs all our lives but there was nothing I wouldn't do for them or them for me. When I heard that line, I thought of them...
I hear you man . my brother and I have been on different paths . but I would risk it all for him and if I ever need so one by my side it would be him . we both love this movie because we feel we lived it . me retired military and him a leaf in the wind . but he gots my back and I got his
Haven’t actually seen this flick. Here for the Cave-Ellis effect. Two of the best score writers EVER. If anyone is enjoying this, and you’ve never listened to the score from the Assassination of Jesse James- stop everything in your life and go listen to that soundtrack. Just one mans advice.
Also watch the film for Nick's cameo as a bar room balladeer. The director Andrew Dominik also directed the great Cave film One More Time With Feeling, and he even co-produced the Ghosteen album with Nick and Warren for The Bad Seeds.
I didn’t want it to end, but then it left me to imagine how their lives would be going forward from there, so in a way, in my mind, the story never ended. Iam left for the rest of my life wondering. Do you understand me in a way ? I relate a lot to this film, not from the criminal aspect, but from the sadness.
Richard Lim I get what you’re saying. It was like the great western stand off, though modernized for current cinema realism. No good guys, no bad guys....just men or anti-hero’s.... staring each other down in both disgust and respect. Those last words exchanged by them both... chilling. Makes you think, “they’ll either go on hunting each other... or silently living with respect for one another.” I always tell everyone, this movie has become the standard of modern westerns. It’s not only a beautiful movie with excellently crafted characters and amazing set pieces, but masterful in its look and aesthetic. It’s why modern westerns have become my new favorite film genre....though nothing tops this film.
@@joeyclemenza7339 "Makes you think, “they’ll either go on hunting each other... or silently living with respect for one another.” I think, both. This movie was epic. Watched it a second time immediately, fell asleep on it and dreamt of wide open spaces and good music.
Had a feeling that the original music included at least Warren Ellis. The sad atmosphere is beautiful. I don't know about anyone else, but the tone on this shows the pain Nick is still going through
supper weird question but is this me at 2:12 am driving around big bear CA while my wife and kids are asleep but with the right air pod on lol december 2018 super late post!
I love all that stuff. It’s got that Friday night lights movie vibe. That hopeless Lawless Texas vibe. This is such a beautiful soundtrack and it’s hauntingly hopeless. And beautiful at the same time. Perfect for a long road trip really gets you thinking very introspective music . We’re all gonna die. How are you going to go.?
at 6:55 time here when piano come in this music just remember the sacrifice of his brother that make him die to let his brother get well life with his kids, ... really in this time no real brotherhood

I would say what have you done for god. Whoever your god may be. A lot of times people ask what has good done for me when they don't even believe or have faith in him .god rewards his faithful. Everyday is a gift from god and how we spend it is our gift to god. Just my thoughts
One of the most underrated films of 2016.

Definitely not underrated. Just underexposed. When I meet anyone who has seen it, they loved it. It's just not easy finding folks who've seen it.
i realize it's kind of randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to stream new movies online ?
@Kasen Gabriel Flixportal :)

My favorite film in the last 20 years.
in the last 20 years? how old are u brother
Because you asked little brother.
sum people don't understand that question
Such a superb film. Brilliant performances by all 4 main leads.

He's legit and not a sellout

I second that. That's a great movie and soundtrack. I listen to it over and over. Sets me straight, if you know what I mean...
My favorite soundtrack since the movie came out. Song For Bob still makes me tear up to this day.

Western will never die
Amazing piece of music
This movie and soundtrack - my found obsession going on for months now
One of the greatest movies of all time. 👍
The last scene between Toby (Chris Pine) and the retired Texas Ranger (Jeff Bridges) was more than a movie, it was cinema. If that makes any sense.

"The Lord of the Plains... That's me..."
You know what that makes me (Comanche)
great film and beautiful soundtrack
this movie changed my life
Nick Cave is something else
From the opening scene I knew Nick and Warren are in.
Assassination of Jesse is probably my favorite score of all time. Warren and Nick again.
My favorite film that year
your right , that last scene was killer
"You know what that makes me?" An enemy? "No, it makes me a Commanche!" Hands down one of my fav movies of all time!
You Comanche? Lord of the plains ! Lords of nothing now. Great scene .
