A friend of mine had one of these back in the early 90s. It had a folding stock. When you have it up to your shoulder the spent shells don’t hit you as much. It was fun as hell to shoot but a act of congress to load

I've shot a 16 gauge bolt-action shotgun. Kicked like a mule and tended to get the shell stuck on the ejector.

It needs a folding long shoulder stock. With a curved metal cartridge deflector to push ejected to the right. And a laser dot for hip shooting. That would make it more awesome.

@@draugur345 technically it's already a destructive device and possibly an SBS as configured. Putting a stock on shouldn't make it worse.
So that is the older model, I happem to have the later model called the Protecta, they changed it from "semi auto" to "pump action" but it still rotates the cylinder. They also added the stock as well as a little shoot to eject the shells sideways. The one in this video use to jam a fair bit
i was curious about this gun since i first saw it in Resident Evil 4, it may take an eternity to load but it looks like A lot of fun to use.

Back in the 90's I had a choice between the street sweeper and the Russian SKS with all matching numbers for 300 dollars and I chose the SKS. Kinda wish I would have gone back and picked up the street sweeper as well which is worth a lot more now! It had a longer barrel with a folding stock. Great video as always!!!!!

I have the newer version of this which they called the Protecta. I'm here I'm South Africa where they were produced. They changed the mechanism into a "pump action" style with a unique way of cycling the cylinder! The trap door is also far easier to use as it opens automatically after your first shot. They also added a swing out butt stock
Why? You can have a proper Mossberg 12 round mag fed shotgun for less. The Protecta is basically a toy gun with REALLY bad QC.
Or if you can get your hands on a Saiga and a drum magazine...

Fun fact: if you put a laser sight on that and when you are about to aim it, just before you activate the laser sight, if you change to another gun at that moment you will become 1.5x faster then usual

This style of shotgun has been around for a while, a long while.

Scott I believe the street sweeper would be a good shotgun to use for Bear defense. Scott I wish you would use 12 gauge exploding slugs. Gun runners arsenal has them for sale on the internet. Those shotgun slugs travel at 1,200 feet per second and explode when they hit the target. I wish you would do some test firing at your range and show us the results on your video. Thanks.

There is a little trick for controlling recoil of a shotgun. If someone pulls back with the shooting hand and forward with non-Shooting hand isometrically, the recoil impulse will seem significantly reduced. Yup, it really works, much like the Weaver stance helps mitigate the recoil and muzzle climb if a handgun.
