    Love the videos! How do you think this would compare to the Recteq DualFire?

      I'm not sure how it would fair up but personally I feel this one serves it's purpose for what I like to do.

    If you want a better sear with the RT-1250-Get Grillgrates!!! They work very well and can be removed and moved around right on the standard gates!

    Get some steak weights, it will help get a better sear.

    I have a RT700 and have a set of Grill Grates. I believe that will give a better sear. look into it. still no flame sear but they do get hotter and have better grill marks.

      I may just get some grill grates, hopefully they are as good as people make them out to be.

      Good job James! You won't regret it. Honestly, the video where I used wood chips from the oak on my land had very good smoke flavor. I'm not a fan of smoke tubes but this hits different so be sure to give that a try!

    How do you think the Recteq 1250 would do with grill grates? Have you tried them to see how they would sear?

      I tried it and have a video already but I feel I could have gotten a bit hotter.

    I have never cranked up my 700 to full, I use mine for smoking. I think the hottest I’ve have it was 400 for the break in only. Now my bullseye well…. That’s a different story brother! That thing gets up to 750 and believe me when I tell you! It can sear better than anything else I’ve done it in! Get you one brother! You won’t regret it! I find myself cooking in that thing more that anything else lol

    • @ElSenorBbq
      @ElSenorBbq  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think having some grill grates will yield great results! I'm not sure if I will ever crank it as high as it can give it again but it's nice to know what happens in real life when I go to Full.

      I certainly appreciate it! You'll love the 1250, the best thing for me is putting wood chips on the cast iron deflector. That gives it extra smoke flavor without having a smoke tube.

    I need some help, can’t decide between the LSG pellet and this model Recteq. Is the LSG worth the price difference? I have to get the LSG shipped as well…

    • @ElSenorBbq
      @ElSenorBbq  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'll be honest, I'd do the recteq. Mainly because most pellet Smokers do the same thing and having a heavy duty one is a bit overkill for a pellet whereas a live fire like an offset the lsg is the way to go. I love lsg but I can't see myself buying their pellet Smoker. My lsg offset is great though

      It's a pellet grill guy. There isn't a whole much to learn. Man making it seem like this is a stick burner lmao. Maybe you should learn to be courteous or possibly offer constructive criticism rather than insult a complete stranger. Have a good weekend, you certainly sound like you need it

      @El Señor BBQ you're the one scared of your pellet grill bro, you're the one over complicating it,not me. I'm just saying don't make a video if you don't feel comfortable cooking on it. Pretty strait forward. You're obviously scared to cook on it so not really sure why you're acting like my comment was unwarranted. You even said it yourself. My weekends going great btw, I'm not scared of any of my cookers lol. Smh
