Keith Knetge my cube is 416 and I don’t play all of these cards, but a lot of people (according to my survey data) play a cube bigger than that, so I like to go a little deeper when I discuss cards. If your cube was 450, you would want 10-11 reanimate effects.
In my low power environment I run a reanimation package. All the reanimation spells are at 4-5 mana, except victimize which needs a creature to sac and 2 creatures in the yard. As discard outlet I have mefolk looter and some variants of it, plus discovery/dispersal and strategic planning. As reanimate targets, white has akroma and zetalpa, black has sheoldred and scion of darkness (I like the fact that it cycles) and the multicolor has sire of insanity and simic sky swallower, plus I have Frost Titan and Inferno Titan which if they come into play 2 turns earlier then they are enough to close the game.
Good stuff, would like to add that tutors are really good to get the needed redundancy as they can count for multiple categories. If you are missing a discard outlet, DT got you covered. Griselbrand? Gets that as well. Etc.
Did you leave Recurring Nightmare out because of the setup it requires? It'sa bit more intensive because you need a creature to sac and can only use it at sorcery speed, but it's a fantastic card!
That is correct. I left it out for the set up required. But play it if you got it. Also, I thought I would go over some reanimate spells that maybe people had not heard of.
I would love to see a video of a (paper) draft of your cube with a commentary voice over. Follow your thought proces throughout. Or see your son draft some sweet eldrazi :-p
I will see what I can do about that. I have not found a good way to film paper draft in a manner that other people would want to watch it. Though I have tried a couple of times.
Quick question (the internet and another youtube channel we're unable to answer for sure) can norwood priestess mentor for multicolored creatures in green or just strictly mono green? Anybody please lol I need help
@@cubefortwo I was watching a video on how complex these mtg animations are and how they take 10+ hours for a 3 second chip. I think they're really incredible. Thank you for such dedicated videos. I thought your video on Unga Bunga and the removal density were both incredibly good - I felt they were really applicable. I didn't agree with the creatures/ threats you picked for Unga Bunga, but I'm completely on board with the theory.

blightsteel colossus is the only creature in the game you actually CAN'T reanimate as he shuffles himself into your deck as a replacement effect

Zetalpa is a nice low power reanimate target. and I like Sheoldred too.
