I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world there would be endless time for either Tom or Ob to engage with everyone, but alas the world is far from perfect.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever.
You can also call him if you prefer (856-866-8733) between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, EST. This may be slightly more difficult because he's forever running around away from his desk, but it's worth a shot.
Q: I have a amusing anecdote, scathing criticism, or heartfelt compliment that I deeply need to express and I require / demand / long for a personalized response! What should I do?!

On values: Years ago at a show I overheard one collector tell his friend: "I finally broke down and bought a chained SS dagger from Wittmann. I'll never get my money back, but I've always wanted one." The friend asked "What did you pay?". The response: "$1,500". I think that he'll get his money back, don't you, Tom?

Hi Mr Wittmann I was just watching a documentary by Mark Felton on youtube. It was about the grave robbers who dug up Heydrichs grave in 2019. In it he said that Heydrich was buried with all his awards and the Himmler SS honor swords came about and only 12 were issued. In the documentary it was said that the robbers was likely to have become very rich. Do you think you could do a video about this very interesting subject and the values of such items and who were the swords issued to ,makers and the usual Wittman charm. U 615 commissioned 26 March 1942 commanded by Kapitanleutnant Ralph Kapitzky. Depth charged and sunk in the Caribbean on August 7, 1943. Sunk by aircraft, 4 killed including Kapitzky, 43 survived.
It must be their U-Boat pennent.

But what use would a pennant more fit for a motor vehicle be to a Uboat?Is there any proof the RZM issued these? There is solid grounding to be skeptical of this flag’s authenticity. If it is real, the skies the limit on its value!

Wittmann, you're not senile. Whoever said that is a fool. A senile person wouldn't be able to run a successful militaria business, and start another successful unboxing video show. The best in the world I might add.
21:38 that K98 bayonet has black paint over the blueing, except for the blade.
That honor ring may be one of the so-called "Dolp" fake rings. I've had a few of those that had the names removed. They look good otherwise with the exception of never having any detail on the teeth which a real one would have. Yours has no detail and looks just like a Dolp ring. I would try to verify the Boyle letter at the very least.

Wow, those are some beautiful examples. The SS With tag, the Röhm and final dagger (though a little fancy for my taste, was a pleasure to see). Damascus, gold plate, filigree and the grain on that handle is fantastic. Thank you for sharing the view from your work bench and your insights.

PS: there is a certain acid available that you can put on that ring, or any object that’s been grinded out. It detects the slightest depression and colorizes the area. Good luck

I still haven’t bought my first piece(:(), but I can say there is nothing I look forward to more on TH-cam than when your videos come out each week. As I said, I don’t own a single piece(yet, that is…a new house and two boys under 3 will do that..) but Mr. Wittmann I can tell you I’ve seen every single video on this channel and you(and Alex to some degree as well) has single handedly gotten me fascinated with the hobby.

That u-boat flag has got to be worth $8500 - $12,000+ Also, that same turtle I've seen on another U-boat, photos of it. same turtle. It was used on 2 or 3 different u-boats.
